System
With Nintendo DS Lite, dual screens and touch-screen technology allow you to cooperate with sports meeting like never before. Wireless communication allows you to experience real-time multiplayer gameplay, and the free Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service allows you to compete against players from around the globe.
Two incredibly bright LCD screens offer one of the most groundbreaking gameplay advances ever developed. Each 3-inch screen can reproduce a right 3D view, with impressive 3D renderings that can surpass images showed on the Nintendo 64. Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection:
Ready to take on the world? Now, with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you can connect wirelessly, chat and play with Nintendo DS owners across the globe. All you need to play is a Nintendo DS and a Wi-Fi-ready game. There are no subscription fees — the service is free! Touch Screen Technology:
The lower screen offers something never before provided by any dedicated game device: touch-screen capabilities. You no longer have to rely on just buttons to go your character or shift perspectives. Navigate menus or access inventory items simply by touching the screen with a stylus or fingertip. The possibilities are limited only by developers’ imaginations. The touch screen features a tougher film cover for durability, and the included stylus is stored in the back of the unit. Microphone Port:
A built-in microphone port means that with Nintendo DS, you only need to tell your sports meeting what to do. The Nintendo DS microphone gives you even more ways to cooperate with your favorite sports meeting. Wireless Network:
With Nintendo DS Lite, you can connect with a local wireless network of up to 16 players. The wireless range can be an incredible 30 to 100 feet and for some sports meeting, multiplayer requires just one Nintendo DS game card. Note: Nintendo DS Lite wireless communication, including PictoChat, is not confidential and is not monitored by Nintendo. We recommend that you never reveal any personal information or arrange to meet a weirder. Rich Stereo Sound:
Nintendo DS Lite sound capabilities allow for greatly expanded use of voices and music, and a richer, more immersive game experience. Stereo speakers allow for virtual surround sound and a plug for headset transmits stereo sound. Backward Compatibility:
Nintendo DS Lite features a separate media port for Game Boy Advance cartridges, allowing you to play all your favorite Game Boy Advance sports meeting in release-player mode. Technical Specs:

NEVER RECEIVED THIS ITEM. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT AFTER RECEIVING NUMEROUS DELAY E-MAILS, WE HAD TO CANCEL THIS ORDER. I STILL DO NOT HAVE THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER’S BIRTHDAY.

Here we go again. Another Nintendo hand held with another upgrade in less than two years time. Its nearly a fine way of admitting they never get anything done right the first time around. With a laundry list of rehashed titles, horrible graphics, limited use of its dual screen and stylus gimmicks, this makes the DS hands down the worst milking of any hand held since the Gameboy Micro slimed its way onto the market.
Not to mention the game library is not anything but the same ancient titles reworked and rehashed for a fanbase thats too loyal to see how dull these sports meeting have become. Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Starfox…bolt from the blue bolt from the blue its the usual suspects. Too terrible 3rd party support is dreadful as usual.
Nintendo knows how to scam the consumer and the DS Lite is proof. In another two years you’ll be buying a better version of the Lite as well.

I was shellshocked when I saw the DS for the first time! I own a PSP, and Nintendo, where did you come up with the thought that the graphics are better then the PSP? I reflect there stuck in the 20th century! Its just a remake of the Game Boy Advance. I liked the GBA, but the DS is the same ancient stupid thing. Come on, 3D graphics, A, the sports meeting are mostly 2D, the 3D sports meeting are horrible, like Madden 2007, and Mario is over 20 years ancient. Make a new game!!! Same with the Wii, the graphics aren’t even akin to the 360 and PS3 and its gimmicy. I say, jump on the Sony and Microsoft bandwagon. You won’t be sorry!

This was a disappointment. I ordered this for my daughters birthday and it did not work when she tried to play it. I took it back to my local Walmart and exchanged it for one that worked.
