First of all, these styli work just fine. I don’t really want to use them extended, mostly because I’ve spent too long using the original DS stylus (and ancient Palm OS styli) to really want something full pen sized. They fit perfectly flush, and don’t wobble in their slot.
Though it is a completely unrelated tangent,what keeps me from giving this a full five star review is the difference in quality. Hori (and Nintendo) used to make some wonderfully robust and durable hardware and accessories. Over time but it seems like they’ve become slightly more economical and less beat-the-heck-out-of-it in terms of build quality. These styli do feel splendid, and will with care last some time. It just bothers me that I could probably break them just by bending them too hard. You could probably play catch with most of their grown-up handheld consoles and accessories probably even up to the original DS and Gamecube days, but I just don’t get that same feel from the DS Lite or these styli.

Splendid Product….but i prefer the solid plastic ones…the extendable mumbo-giant tends to break easily…Basically i wounld recommend this to someone who would lend their stuff to kids ^_^

Works well, as it is much more comfortable than the standard stylus. Unfortunately they do break rather easily, only had ours a month before they both broke. Maybe if you stuck to gentle sports meeting like Sudoku and kept away from action sports meeting like Ninja Gaiden then they would last longer.

Much simpler to use than the regular stylus. I like the length but that it also fits in the stylus holder in the game.

I am an adult and these are wonderful! They extend so that they fit your hand better! Makes playing sports meeting that require a stylus so much simpler and comfortable. You do not have the end of the stylus digging in the palm of your hand!
