The Nintendo DS Browser was co-developed by Nintendo and Opera and provides web browsing on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite system. The Opera browser software is stored on the Nintendo DS cartridge, a memory expansion you caninsert into the GBA slot. The browser uses both screens of theNintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite handheld. While the standard screen is showed on the bottom, an expansion will be provided on the upper screen to grant a better browsing experience. Type your Web address on a keyboard show or using the DS stylus. A parent lock function is provided to disable the access to the internet for children.

The one conundrum with the Nintendo DS browser is the dependency on wi-fi indicate. I bought this as a gift for a small boy into sports meeting and computers. It did not work. They did not have a wireless router or wi-fi. It was a frustrating gift.
