Eh, NIGHT TRAP is not that excellent of a game. It’s not really controversial either. I’m not sure why everyone was “up in arms” over this one. NIGHT TRAP was just scrutinized because it was the first. (‘first’ is debatable) This is a harmless game. It contains pretty terrible video quality, but it’s interactive. (If it weren’t for this game, we wouldn’t have the ESRB.)
Your goal is unadorned: trap the alien invaders, protect the girls at the slumber party.
At the time of release, the players’ “control” over the game’s make pleased was considered revolutionary. NIGHT TRAP is not that huge of a deal. Full motion video (FMV) sports meeting have always been heavily criticized This is not even that excellent of an FMV game. NIGHT TRAP is about as titillating as a department store catalog. Plenty of 1980’s stylishness and humor string the thin plot by the side of.
Final thought: unadorned, but fun.
