NHL ‘94
Product Description
The Super Nintendo Home Entertainment System (SNES) was Nintendo’s second home console. Whereas the earlier system had struggled in the PAL region and large parts of Asia, the SNES proved to be a gobal success, allbeit one that could not match its predecessor’s popularity in Southeast Asia and North America – due inpart to increased competition from Sega’s Mega Guide console. Despite its moderately late start, the SNES became the best selling console of the 16-bite era. NO CASE, NO MANUAL.

This game is the best EAsports NHL game for Super Nintendo and Sega. It may not have fighting but the hits are still the best and you can in fact see your player. Maneuverability is superb and more fun that the 95-2000 sports meeting where all you can see is colored blurs of passing players…you can in fact pass in this game and determine strategies. You know the players, their weights and strengths, making the game fun to play as you work up to the Stanley Cup. I defy anyone to tell me the new flame sports meeting are better!

I’ve had this game for a VERY long time, and although I have NHL sports meeting for my N64 and PSX, this is still very fun to play.
Even though there’s no fighting in this game, the game’s still excellent. I believe that this was the first year that EA Sports presented the one-timer option, which REALLY allows you to let the puck glide.
NHL ‘95 was pretty excellent, too, although for the SNES, they completely messed up with the goaltenders. Those who held the glove in their left hand held it in the right, and vice versa.
NHL ‘96 was just too simple to score, with NHL ‘97 being nearly exactly the same.
Frankly, this game seemed to be a lot more fun than the other sports meeting for the SNES or Sega
