The creators of the original NFL Blitz arcade game have designed the new NFL Blitz 2002 to take advantage of the powerful GameCube platform. All of the 3-D player models, NFL stadiums, and over-the-top animations have been re-made, by the side of with the team-specific plays and intense sound effects.
The new impact player option allows the gamer to edit the route or assignment of any play in the team’s playbook. There’s an all-new running game AI, and more than 1,500 brand-new catches, sticks, and hits, including some animations that were motion-captured using qualified stuntmen swinging from rigging wires. Real player stats, abilities, attributes, and attitudes add detailed realism to the game. The enhanced Make-a-Player mode allows the user to not only brilliant the player’s height, weight, and position, but also the uniform, face, head size and type, size of pads, facemask, and more. The game features enormous 3-D player models, with bulging muscles and real-player faces.
The over-the-top gameplay features players leaping, soaring, and diving for passes; stiff-arming, bulldozing, and railroading would-be defenders; and passing with precision. Intuitive, quick-action, extreme-stylishness controls allow for quick-response gameplay. The game is equipped with the original NFL Blitz point-’n'-pass system and icon passing. Dynamic camera angles capture all of the deep crossing routes and monster sticks by linebackers.

THIS GAME IS A GREAT GAME TO CONTINUE THE AMAZING DYNASTY OF BLITZ FOOTBALL. THE GRAPHICS AND GAMEPLAY WERE BOTH ADVANCED. THIS CAN ONLY MAKE THE GAME BETTER.THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR YOUR GAMECUBE. This is the only football game I’ve played, the only sports game for that matter, but it truly is fun. The multiplayer feature supports up to 4 people, and is especially fun. If you know not anything about football, then the game is NOT for you, but it wasn’t very hard for me to get my wife, who’s normally not a football fan, into the game. We both like it! The graphics are very excellent, and the gameplay is quick-paced and fun…I don’t know what the 2003 model is offering, but this one is strong and a splendid bargain for the price!!

this game is so much better than the n-64 version. you will like it from the second you start. It isn’t the BEST game but it is the gameplay that makes it look cool.
