Product Description
NEVES is a unique puzzle game that challenges players to reflect analytically as they align pieces and build figures that correspond to a silhouette. Each puzzle features seven wooden blocks, requiring the player to combine them to form specific figures ranging from unadorned items like a sword or key to more complicated ones such as birds or airplanes. With the innovative controls of the NDS, it’s as simple as ever to position your pieces, but solving the puzzles can be anything but!

Even tho this game has 452 puzzles, they all use the same shaped pieces and the puzzles don’t get any harder as you unlock new areas. The largest piece and the two nominal pieces are simple to place, so it’s really just figuring out where to place the other four pieces. Some of the puzzles are challenging, but for the most part, it’s pretty monotonous.

Ok, this game was splendid at first, but as another reviewer stated, it got rather repititious after awhile. You start to realize that some pieces can only go a certain way anyway. I guess there wasn’t much of a challenge the more I played it. But, it’s splendid for a pick-up-and-go game.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this game. Once I got the hang of it, I really loved it, but it seems to get simpler the more you play it, to the point that it’s not really very challenging. It’s a excellent way to relax though, if you just want a small something to do while you’re watching TV or something.

I have the manual version, the one with real pieces and cards that I do it with my fingers. It is hard! My sons, 8 and 10 had a hard time and complained about it.
When I saw that they made it into a DS version. I thought to myself, no way, that’ll be even harder and brushed it off. Few months later, after reading some reviews, I chose to get it.
As it turned out, it is simpler than my manual version. You use your stylus to go the pieces around. At first it was bit tough trying to navigate the pieces in place. My son, 8, LOVES it. He is not frustrated with it. In fact we played against each other who would get the pieces together first. He wins 95 percent of the time!!
The graphics are ok. The colors could be better but I guess that’s the way this game is. Just two colored tones. You can choose your affect shades for the pieces. There are many many many pictures offered.
Splendid game for all ages! Adults can play against children and have fun. I’m glad I got it after all.

It was challenging in the beginning. Most people I handed it over to couldn’t figure it out. You have to reflect very spatially. After awhile you learn that some of the shapes can only fit in certain places and that helps. I reflect people will either find it too tedious or eventually too repetitious. But if you are looking for a excellent puzzle game then it is splendid for small bursts.
