ok nwn1…..loved it to no ends. still have it installed on my computer to boot. it was an incredible game, and still is. then this comes out……..where do i start. right off the bat, i knew bioware didnt make it playin it….oh well i still had hope. *huge bioware fan* i then go into the OC mode. play that all the way. tale wise, excellent. like the companion setup. and the influence is splendid….sadly your choices of char dont afect the tale line at all. i played it multiple times in spped mode of course, with different classes, and races, and aside from like 3-4 line changes it the same exact game….in nwn1 your class/race/alignment changed the storyline alot. and i reflect it made that a excellent thing. nearly like playin a while new game with a new char. next the camera…..omgwtf!!!!!!! you accidentally go the mouse to the left too far, bam your char is in the bottom corner, gettin attacked, and you cant see. to play though the maps, i had to be switchin the camera like you wouldnt beleive. up, down, sides to side. and all around. now when i got to MoB….wow. like 4 companions to the bunches from the OC. the tale line blew….you had no thought what was goin on. at the end you still had holes in the tale line. and its small…..amazingly small. compared to NWN, SoU, & HoU this doesent stand up to it….would i have bought it again givin the chance…..maybe. if your a hardcore d&d fan…youll be disappointed, if your an rpger, the expansion will let you down.

I bought Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold and the expansion pack Storm of Zehir and installed them all on a Outlook desktop with no problems.
If you have played the original Neverwinter Nights and its expansions, you can expect more of the same. More races, more classes, more complex character builds, The game is your typical linear RPG with a main quest to follow and plenty of side quests to keep you busy. If this was the end of my review I would have given it a 4, but…
After loading the game, you are then faced with getting the patches. At least 6 patches are necessary. The first one being 325MB and the others between 25 and 55MB. Having only dial-up internet access, this becomes a monumental chore (at least 36 hours for the first one). If this was the only conundrum, I would have played the game while at a snail’s pace accumulating the patches and given it a 3 rating by and large, but…
After playing about 2 hours you are required to penetrate a tavern as part of a quest only to find out the game crashes when you try to leave. If this was a unadorned side quest you might just skip it, but no, its the main quest and you can no longer continue the game. A game should not be released until it it finished, therefor my rating of 1 is generous.

like nothingness with customs neverwinter nights 2 has many choose from. deep tale line and excellent acting. game play um its entertaining but takes time to get used of. why buy dragon age when there a game like neverwinter nights2 and play online with ur friends. max level 30-40. um graphics wise pretty detail and run by Bioware Engine. over all a excellent game and for price i would buy it worth it. but one thing incorrect with the multiplayer there alot mod servers to choose from i stick with rpg team. pvp. and then this other excellent mode role play for people who like RP.

Pros: The main quest has an awesome tale, like it was part of NWN1. The character crator is nifty, the graphics are nice, I didn;t run into any bugs. BotB wasn’t as fascinating a tale, but it gets points for being unique, you know, like getting to be a android-pirate in a NWN premium mod, only this one has portals & a analogous town, a bit like Silent Hill I suppose. What Obsidian & Ossian don’t deliver in the way of premium mods can be aquired from the NWN2 Vault (user-made mods website),
Cons: The cons go to the other premium mods/expansion packs for NWN2 that aren’t part of this package. They lack tale & play more like Heroes of Might & Magic, only you can avoid the random encounters. Comparing them to NWN1’s awesome extras is like comparing a pile of rocks to a plate of frash baked cookies. Mysteries of Westgate did finally come out (no thanks to Atari) but reviews clam that it plays just like Storm of Zahir. Concidering that BioWare turned it focus on Dragon Age after BotB came out, I’d say that the premium mods/expansions were an afterthought.

The second installment of the Neverwinter Series is better than the first. Can’t wait until the next expansion comes out.
