Bought these to use a gameboy in my normal flights… i’m not a gamer but it works excellent.

this is the worst game I have ever played on the GBA. the graphics aren’t splendid, there is no free play, the races are dark and stupid and you can’t pick the car you want. the best thing about it is a 3D, bright green arrow that guilds you owing to the races. this is not what I expected when i got this game. i so don’t recommend this game on this system.

Another year, and another Need For Alacrity game for every system on the market. Not leaving the GBA out yet, EA has brought Need For Alacrity: Carbon to the GBA, and while it provides some bits and pieces of racing fun, it’s only an average racer in the long run. There are naturally a number of features from it’s larger console bretheren that have been left out of this GBA version, but there are a decent number of ways to play here, including the wingman mechanics. There’s a decent number of cars and customization options as well, and the cars themselves look pretty excellent too. The tracks but look pretty hideous and dark, with bolt from the blue turns popping out of nowhere to boot. If you’ve played any of the other Need For Alacrity sports meeting on the GBA though, this shouldn’t come as much of a bolt from the blue considering that they suffered from the same problems. All that being said, Need For Alacrity: Carbon is a solid street racer for the GBA which features some small blasts of enjoyment, but if you’re desperate for Need For Alacrity on the go, check out the DS version instead.
