Since the NBA is sometimes a one man show and nobody plays defense except the Pistons I really prefer College Basketball especially since I live in Kentucky. One thing I like about College jewelry is how there is more teamwork, thinking, defense, and huge plays. And since all of the superstars usually go right to the NBA college jewelry is more even. Probably a excellent example is how UAB managed to beat UK( It was just luck). But there are some schools Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Duke that always have a excellent team. I am pretty excited about UK’s fab four freshmen Rajon Rondo, Joe Crawford, Ramel Bradley, and Randolph Morris( who will dominate in the NBA like Shaq)I reflect UK will go all the way this season but I know I am supposed to be reviewing this game. I haven’t played it yet because it’s not out but I just can’t wait to play it. My largest interest is EA won’t over or underrate the players in this game. They need to rate Kelenna Azubuike in the 90s like the megastar everyone in Huge Blue nation know he is. And Morris and Rondo( who is the next A.I.) should both be rated in the high 80s. Most sports meeting have a conundrum with this. Like in the nba sports meeting LeBron is only rated in the 80s. Yeah right. Anyway this game will have a call playcall feature that’s simply incredible. I can’t wait til this game is released and March Madness starts. March is my favorite time of the year. Last season in the second round of the tournament when the upset of the century happened I just about died. ESPN replayed the ending of the UK UAB game so much I got sick. And the season before Dwayne Wade killed UK I started crying it was horrible. But that won’t happen this year.
GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s hard to review a game that hasn’t come out yet, but based on what I’ve read and the videos I’ve seen, I’d say it’s a solid effort. What’s vital in a game to an individual will determine if MM2005 or CH2K5 is the better choice.
I mainly responded due to the Kentucky conversation. I’m a UK graduate (Class of 1995) and I bleed BLUE….but I sense that the other “reviews” were written by younger UK fans. As much as the loss to UAB sickened me, it was not luck. It all comes down to matchups in the tournament and they were a mismatch for Kentucky…simply too quick. There was evidence of that in the first round as a 16 seed hung with UK for 30 minutes…why? Alacrity. Our boys overachieved all last season, and while they earned their # 1 seed…they were, in all honesty, a small overrated. They were missing the huge guns that they have now with the best freshman class in the country. Be careful, though, not to expect too much too quick. They are freshmen. Fortunatley, our non conference schedule is a small toned down from recent years, but the UNC game at UNC and the Kansas game at home will be tough.
A side note on the loss to Marquette in 2002. Three words: Bogan’s ankle injury. A healthy Bogans, and I believe Kentucky wins a close one and goes to the Final Four. Oh well, S**t happens. I look forward to a splendid season and hopefully our freshmen grow up quick and are rolling come March.

The game is splendid, but I nearly puked when I read the above review of an idiot claiming that Louisville would beat Kentucky. I am a season voucher holder for the UK sports meeting, and having watched Rondo, Crawford,Morriss, and Bradley in action, there is no way the Cards can stay within ten points of the Cats. Garcia is no match for Rondo’s defense, and Morriss will own the paint. Even though the Cards have beaten the Cats the last two years, who always turned out to be the best team at the end of the year? Also, Tubby Smith is a much better bench coach than Rick Pitino ever hoped to be. Keep dreaming, Cards fans. ( The differnece between UK and UL is 70 miles and five championships.)

Like one of the above writers, I too like March Madness, and as above, I am also from the splendid basketball state of Kentucky…but, I’m a Louisville fan. I am greatly looking forward to another thumping of UK by the Garcia-led Cardinals this year.
That being said, this game is splendid. Unfortunately, I reflect that some issues with graphics come into play that aren’t exactly the game’s fault…i.e., this game doesn’t look excellent on the PS2. If you’re a college ball fan, get this game, but consider the XBOX version, as it’ll look better than the PS2 version.

I can’t play this game till Christmas, but after what I am hearing, this game should be splendid. I reflect that with the discipline level somebody else said, that is real life, most players getting in distress. For the most part, if you use the alacrity boost quicker, the results will be better. I like that they are putting stadium pulse, and this game should be splendid. With so many excellent teams, I really don’t know who to pick.
