This is a horrible attempt at a basketball game. Yes the presentation is excellent, and the graphics are not too terrible. The gameplay is absolutely dreadful. I bought it because I like college basketball and this is the only game there is, but I completely regret my buy. The game is riduculously terrible. EA needs to scrap this basketball game and take some clarification from the ancient 2K sports meeting.

This game is simply dreadful, I read many poor and so so reviews for this product, but, since it is the only college basketball game available this year and I am a huge fan of college basketball I bought it. I truly regret this buy, for the first two weeks I tried to overlook the countless glaring flaws, but I have now accepted the fact that I will never play this game again. The sole clear is this sports meeting presentation, the CBS and ESPN presentations are brilliant, even though the dialog is often incorrect and very repetitive that is the case with most sports sports meeting and is not that much of an issue. Where the conundrum lies is the control, it is dismal the players that you “control” running out of bounds back courts driving to the basket when you are trying to shoot a three pointer, the dreadful passing and lost dribbles, reduction the ball from going out of bounds to the person you stole it from, rampant turnovers. What you do with the game pad has so small impact on what is happening on the screen it is unbearable. Double Dribble on the NES is a more realistic basketball sim than this and has better control and player movement. Avoid this like the plague, you will be better for it.

A must get for the college basketball fan. Sent very promptly and in a qualified manner and I’m in the Caribbean.

I’m not the player here, so this review is based on pointer from a special teen, who signs his text messages “MVP dis year.” Since MVP’s brother got the game for Christmas and is stingy with sharing it, MVP questioned for his own game for his birthday. Two of the same $60 game in the same house seems asinine to me, but I relented. He called and texted me everyday until I ordered it, then he called and texted every day until Amazon delivered it and I place it in his hot small hands. As a guy that likes all things basketball and has nearly as many sports meeting and films of the sport as he has books, he’s a credible critic. He says this game is “the best.”
