Her Interactive has not broken its streak of producing mediocre sports meeting with this game. The game play is dull and tedious and you can delight in very small character interaction. You spend most of the time running around doing meaningless errands and solving pointless, random puzzles, which frankly aren’t that enjoyable. And at the end, you learn there were no culprits. Your inquiring leads to the groom and the couple live happily ever after. There really isn’t even a like trangle or much drama incorporated into the tale line. It seems that the only thing HI has going for it these days is its outstanding graphics. But, they have lost their edge in developing compelling, creative, engaging tale shape which keeps you wanting more. I suspect they fired or somehow parted ways with their gifted creators and have brought on penetrate substandard talent who are producing these mediocre sports meeting. Save your cash. If you are curious about the game, you can see clips on youtube, which include a walkthrough and even the ending.

I have been a Nancy Drew fan for about five years. To me this game is one step above “The creature of kapu cave.” Which is not saying a lot. My review will be spoiler free until I talk about the ending.
graphics- The graphics are incredible! They just get better and better!
The puzzles- Have you ever played “Curse of Blackmoore Manor?” The puzzles are a lot like that. Just looking at them, you reflect…well I’m going need a walkthrough with this one.
The characters- There is a grand total of three! There is the victim who just sits there reading the whole time. Theres the handy man who does not anything but sit in the bar and talk about “faries”. Then theres Kit, the grooms best friend. The most useless characters in the whole Nancy Drew series.
The ending-(spoliers)
The ending was dumb! It was SO simple! We meet 1 more useless character, Matt, the groom! He tells his tale, and then stops talking! Everytime you try to talk to him, he tells you he doesn’t feel like talking! For the end you just have to build a rocket! The hardies part is putting the wires together. It turnes out that there is NO Culprit! I didn’t like that at all!
Thats all for now!

I loved this game very much. I have played all of the Nancy Drew sports meeting by Her Interactive. The last few sports meeting I played felt rushed and I did not delight in them as much as previous sports meeting. The Haunting of Castle Malloy goes back to the original fun of the earlier sports meeting. The tale line was splendid and did not feel rushed. The puzzles were fresh, new, and challenging. These sports meeting are splendid for all ages. I nervously await the next one.

This game was MUCH BETTER than the Phantom of Venice. A lot of fun puzzles and figuring out the mystery. I have all the Nancy Drew sports meeting and this one is one of the best!

This game was fun. Had a believable reason for Nancy to be there. I was able to beat the game without solving the last 2 house puzzles in the nursery so I am a small confused about that. I was wondering if that happened to anyone else. You should play this game. Most people find it to be really excellent. Go to youtube.com and search for a review for this game by gamergirl. There are some numbers at the end of her name, but I can’t remember them. Her reviews are really excellent. She reviews lots of sports meeting similar to Nancy Drew as well.
