Product Description
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance takes you deeper into the Outworld with all-new matches, as you face the deadliest fighters on(or outside) Earth!Amazon.com Review
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance brings the MK series a new 3-D fighting engine, adds tons of features and extras, and still offers classic gameplay.
This installment introduces a 3-D battle system that still manages to keep up a 2-D feel. For example, pushing up on your controller makes you sidestep your opponent’s attacks, yet it also allows you to jump by tapping up plus a management. A revamped fighting system offers up to three different fighting styles for each fighter (one includes a weapon technique). The multiple styles grant countless variations of attacks for any given fighter. Different combinations of punches and kicks allow for lengthy and powerful chain attacks similar to the Mortal Kombat of ancient. Fatalities are also back and are rich in graphic representation.
New fighters join the cast of ancient favorites such as Sonya, Kano, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Jax, Cyrax, Kung Lao, Kitana, Quan Chi, Reptile, and Shang Tsung. The lavish environments surround your fighters with animated backgrounds and rich skylines. On some levels there are even breakable objects and hazards that you can cooperate with, such as pools of acid–the exact landing place for a thrown opponent.
In addition to regular modes of gameplay (arcade, versus, etc.) there is an option called Konquest mode. This mode allows you to learn more about fighting styles, read up on each character’s personal history, and gain Koins which can then be spent in the Krypt to unlock a host of new characters, costumes, and early concept drawings. The additional make pleased offered with this title is plentiful, including “The Making of Deadly Alliance” and “The History of Mortal Kombat” featurettes.
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance successfully reinvents the series by dishing up a unique mix of improved graphics and stylized gameplay without compromising those features that made the MK series well loved in the first place. –Carlos Rodela

This is a dreadful game. If you want a colorful and I dont mean bloody game, then get Super Mario Sunshine which is splendid for children under 8 years of age and any adult or teenager who inst worried to admit they still, in fact, delight in Barney and Disney Movies. The only reason I give this 2 stars is because I heard you can turn the blood off which makes it still violent but makes it bearable for people over 30.

First off i grew up on mortal kombat, when i was a wee small outcome of the young age of well i can’t remember what age, but i would scrounge up quarters, go to my local corner store, to play mortal kombat, until i got kicked out, but times are different now, you can get the same experience in your own home, and of course beer is invovled, and to make the gaming experience that much more loved able with the homies. I can’t wait for this game to be released to bring back the Kombat days of ancient, yes its new, and new charectors are invloved but i believe this will bring back mortal kombat, after a spawn of everything from toys, to movies. this game looks excellent but i have yet to play it so the gameplay is an unknown at this moment but i know i won’t be let down, so let the kombat start!!

Ever since 1993, (10 years now) Midways been spitting these sports meeting out. Theyre decent fighting sports meeting, plagued with mindless, unneeded blood and gore. While there are many gory sports meeting out there, at least their gore makes some kind of sence. As for this game, it makes no sence at all. When you punch your friend in the arm blood does not go squirting in all directions does it? A mediocre fighting title that tries to be orignal by adding blood and gore.
