This game is amusing while still retaining to sports. I like the on fire and punching tags. The only thing stopping it from being a five star is the throws. The center fielder can throw home without a bounce.

Obviously the previous reviewer has never played Slugfest before, this is how it has always been a “street” stylishness baseball game, including more mature / aggressive themes, the ability to attack other players, and urban-styled in-game commentary. Amazon’s description should have eluded to the fact that this is NOT a REALISTIC Baseball game.
I delight in beaning hitters and wondering if they will storm the mound, I in fact find it hilarious, I haven’t used the season mode, just exhibition sports meeting. All in all Slugfest delievers what we have come to expect from this gaming series.
