Dull Dull everything is dull but wait whats this the only excellent game ive played and never got dull what a suprise!the best in mech combat history well to me anyhow.

The fact that this is not one of the most well loved SNES sports meeting of all time is a real bring shame on. Take the quick paced action of sports meeting like Super Metroid and Megaman, add mission objectives, a variety of giant mechs. Even the ability to leave your mech and go it on foot.
The one player game is splendid, but the 2 player vs mode is possibly the most fun you will have with the SNES! All of the mechs are well-balanced, none can dominate the battle. You might have incredible fire potential in one suit, but he is very slow. Another suit is weak but can glide. Everything evens out, and potential-ups and ability to switch suits can cause incredible turn-arounds in the tide of the battle. When things get really hideous you can always challenge your opponent to a ’small man duel’, ditching the mechs and trying to finsih the job with a jetback and a pea shooter. This is the only game you will play again and again in multiplayer.
A few more multi player levels or more suits would have been splendid. But this game is well worth its extravagant price, and stands the test of time for classic video gaming.

There aren’t many sports meeting out there that are as excellent as this one this is a classic game if only people could make sports meeting like this again.

I have played this game years ago and regret never buying it.
I like it so much I have it on computer with an emulator but, there is not anything better then playing it on the consol.
This is a side view 2d game that might feel a tiny bit like Contra.
Game offers a splendid release player campagne and incredible multiplayer split screen death match within different arenas.
You battle within a large Armed changeable Suit or Mech.
You find potential ups or weapons, when your mech is terribly hurt, you can get out and find another one (depending on map or situation)
This is simply one of the funnest sports meeting.
The fun factor is similar to contra, also the release player campagne is much longer.
The multiplayer can keep you playing for hours with you’re friends.
Yes there are much newer consols such as the Xbox360 with fantastic graphics… But Metal Warriors Proves that Gameplay is far more vital then eye sweetie graphics.
(Also proves that 2d sports meeting can be much funner then 3d sports meeting(some 2d sports meeting were ruined when remade to 3d but thats really offtopic))
I am not able to figure out a better game on the SNES.
For its stylishness, class, type of game…. There is no better !

Many of the SNES sports meeting out there have been either too dull or highly overated. This overlooked game ranks #1 in any game system I’ve ever played. You can chose a battle suit out of assorted suits status higher or lower depending on their abilities and original design. Then, you’re taken into different side- scrolling arenas where you duke it out with your oppenent with different weapons. There’s even potential ups to boost your stength and techniques. The best part of the game is that you can leave your battle suit as a tiny character and hunt in smaller tunnels for hidden potential ups during the fight. In this mode, you’re even armed with a small “pea shooter” if you dare taking on the enemy. You sure get your kicks in 2 player when you take out the other player’s pod and proceed to terminate its survivor while you are armed a billion times superior. Or, even worse, have them beat you up, and retreat where only he/she can get you by jumping out, where you’ll then take their healthy suit. It’s a crime to have so much fun at another’s expense. Very rich.
The fantastic fun factor of this game never ends. Unfortunately, this game was made in a limited quantity earlier on, therefore its hefty price, but it’s worth it if this type of game appeals to you. If you like action in battle, approach or fighting sports meeting, this may be for you. Sports meeting like Mechwarrior and Armored Core were based off of this. Stick with the original.
