First of all, yes controls well.. no PROBLEM at ALL!!Quit complaining dont listen to reviewers who complain about controls, if thats a huge deal to them then they are weak gamers(no offence),i got used to controls in two days honest, its not that terrible. Now I have been a mega, mega man…..X for years it was the best i played it from 1-6(then got ruined by 7)i have also played mega man 8 which was kinda nice but not as excellent as the X series. The 2 mega man arcade sports meeting were coole 8 was splendid,7 was fine then the rest was all TOTAL CRAP!!i mean the bosses look kiddie and weak(cut man, stone man,air man,so dull..).Capcom had to ruin it by introduction the original mega man which is the worst of all!!Honestly who would you rather play with, Zero or Proto man.But since i bought the game i would just go with the flow, hoping that someday capcom would come to its senses and make an X series pool.It does deserve 3 stars because of the 2 arcade sports meeting, bonus features and mega man 8 which was the best of all in my opinion.Man i thought capcom would be real wise..suggested only if you had played the series and loved it!!

The B button is on the left on both the NES and GameCube controllers. In the NES version, B is fire A is jump. In the GC version, it’s backwards. It is hard to get used to, and when you do, you screw up in other Mega Man sports meeting.

Now this what I’m talking about! Not that pathetic MM Network series that’s on the GC, but the originals – when gaming was gaming. This is the B-bomber at his best, 8 of the greatest shooter-adventures of all time. Before this compilation, I went out and bought a NES and MMs 1-5, but now, I can just dish out 30-something $ for 10 splendid sports meeting. Capcom fell out of favor with me when the discontinued the SF series and turned the MM to crap, but now I at least get to find again the glory days and play like its 1995. Kudos, Capcom!

I really, really delight in Megaman, and thats why I bought this game but, now I regret it! When I bought this game I thought I was buying gold. Instead, I bought a peice of CRAP! First of all this game does not support any stereo or surround sound, it’s just mono. Second of all! the controls don’t make any sense. You have to use the “B” botton to jump and the “A” botton to shoot. I have no thought why Capcom did that but, I guess it would take getting use to. Third of all! On Megaman 8 you can hardley hear the voices of the characters. The voices on the cut scenes also have problems. They sound like they’re talking in front of fans(air fans). Honestly the Megaman 8 for the oringinal Playstation was much better than this. The music(wich G4 terriblie remixed)and 2 extra sports meeting are what keeps me from giving it a 1 out of 5.

The sports meeting in this compilation are brilliant. I am not concerned with how excellent this compilation is. I will just say that it is brilliant. The sports meeting were terribly ported. For one, the controls are messed up for the GC version. In the GC version, you cannot access the remixed music. You should still buy it, but if you have a PS2, that is the version you should get.
