My 6 year ancient daughter, who is younger than the recommended 10+ really wanted this game. I reflect the game was intended for grown-up kids, but the movie is well loved with younger kids. So what happens? She can’t quite do the needed moves and hands me the controller. From then on she sits next to me telling me what she wants to do. Pretty decent family time although it reminds me a small too much of driving with a backseat driver. Very soon the game becomes ancient and dull. Another movie inspired game. I found myself stuck on the couch for hours playing a dull game on behalf of my daughter, who loved every minute of it.

Don’t know what one gamer saw when she said this game wasn’t splendid, it was. She or he said it’s dull, it’s DEFINITELY not. I loved every minute, it promises to go beyond what the movie showed and it lives up on that. There is extra scenes not in the movie (though haven’t seen the movie in a while). You do get to travel in time and battle with Bowler Hat Guy and owing to a couple of splendid animations scenes wee what the future and past holds. I really fought the developers did a splendid job of capturing the movie experience here.
Control
Just dandy, it starts of simple but you make gadgets and get other gear in your journey to aid Wilbur fix time. You can switch gadgets with the push of a button and there are a lot of cool gadgets here like the Havoc Glove, Scanner, Disassembler and many more.
Challenge
Challenge is honest even for experience gamers. You will find levels simple and others not so simple. The makers mix it up very well and this makes the game fascinating till the end. There are a couple of giant bosses here so high marks to the developers for making the game very polished.
Graphichs
The characters look just like the movie, the cutscenes look splendid on PS2 and I really loved watching the characters talking to one another agani just like watching the movie. No letdowns here.
Sound and Music
It sounds like most of the cast did the voice acting again high props for that. THe music made you feel energized enough to pass each level.
Replay Regard
Maybe there could have been more done like mini-missions. You do get to unlock action figures, cover art and movies but still a small more extras would have suffice.
Still this is a splendid game and it’s very cheap but delivers a lot in terms of fun.

My 7 year ancient son wanted to buy this game but we rented it first and I’m glad that we did. This game isn’t that splendid and gets dull quick. Each level is long and takes a while to get owing to. In each level you’re assinged different tasks to complete. Without my help, my son wouldn’t be able to complete each level. After an hour of playing this game, my son was ready to take it back to the video store. If you’re still thinking about buy this game, rent it first.

Meet the Robinson lets players take control of Wilbur Robinson on his quest to return his dad’s stolen time-machine. The game offers a excellent mix of action, adventure and puzzle-solving, while telling a slightly different tale compared to the Disney movie. We loved Wilbur’s clear attitude towards helping and solving other characters problems -given that he needed their help in return, but still I always welcomes polite characters. The game requires a excellent amount of reading in order to use different menus, maps and instructions. The level of difficulty is simple to moderate and increases in the later part of the game. By and large Meet the Robinsons is excellent (but not splendid) release player Movie/Game, for kids ages 10 and up – even for those who did not see the movie. Disney’s Support Website offers a Walkthrough for some of the levels.
