A modern version of Capcom’s Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins series, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory is one of those rare sports meeting that offers a solid update of a classic arcade title. This 3-D platform game delivers all the charm of its 2-D side-scrolling ancestor with contemporary gameplay mechanics. In his latest adventure, Maximo returns to his kingdom to find it in disarray. His formerly trusted advisor, Achille, has banished the four sorceresses that govern the land and mandatory Maximo’s right like to walk down the aisle him. To save the day, Maximo must run, jump, and fight his way owing to five environments across more than 25 levels. Like his predecessors, Maximo must constantly agonize about upgrading his armor and weapons. Play the game skillfully and you’ll have a heavily armed fighting machine. Take too many hits and Maximo will be fighting villains in his heart-covered boxers.
Graphics-wise the game is very strong. The animations are charming, the textures are rich, and the environments are detailed. The sound is an resolution joy, the effects are humorous, and the music is fantastic. Tommy Tallarico Studios has done an brilliant job taking the melodies from the original game and making updated variations that are equally memorable. Although some will find the gameplay repetitive and many will reflect the boss fights are too simple, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory offers an brilliant 15 to 20 hours of platform goodness. –Raymond M. I don’t know why it says it comes out tha 15th cuz I found it at blockbuster. This game is tight. It has a different kind of life system where the more armor you lose the more vulnerable you are. You can learn more abilities as you play it by cuttin up some badguys. Im gonna buy this game when I see it in the stores.

This is what America should feel like, Maximo should be the wo-
rst GAME of the year 2002, THEY PUT IT A GREATEST HITS LABEL! OH
NO! They were right to place all the Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter,
and Ratchet and Clank on a Greatest Hits categorize but were incorrect to place this as a Greatest Hits, When there was many other better
ones that were ignored such as Escape from Monkey Island, Pirat-
es: Legend of The Black Kat, and Dog’s Life. They were incorrect to
place this junk as a Greatest Hits game.

This game is absolutely terrible. I tried it out at the store first then chose to buy it. What a mistake. This game is so dark, it’s hard to see where you’re going. It’s in fact a really hard game and there are very few spots in the game that allow you to save. I don’t recommend this game to anyone.
