Again, this is one of the many stupid tile matching sports meeting made by ignorant computer programmers that call themselves “mahjong”. They should be called “Mahjong SOLITAIRE”.
Real mahjong is very different 4 player game similar to gin rummy and is way more fun than stupid tile matching. Chinese people play REAL mahjong, not this tile matching solitaire game.
I despise it how these programmers mislead so many customers about what REAL mahjong is, there is more to it.

Mah Jong is a splendid time space filler when you are on the phone, talking, on hold, or no matter what. Terrific variety in tile sets, game assortments and layouts.

I was looking to replace my Shanghai, which does not work well on Macintosh System 10, and I’m not sorry that I bought this version. This product’s original MahJongg game works well (although I miss the Shanghai animations and sounds), and there are several other fascinating sports meeting as well. Additionally, there are over 2000 social class, enough to suit every personality. This game was certainly worth the cash for someone who enjoys tile matching sports meeting such as Shanghai and “Concentration”, plus some other tile skill sports meeting.

I delight in this game, but needs better tiles to choose from. Tiles are dull, needs more pizazz

This is a hybrid CD-ROM, in that it contains data for BOTH PC (Dialogue box$) and Macintosh operating systems. I have a Mac, so obviously that’s what is installed. My main complaint is that the tile sets look washed out. They are mostly too pastel or lightly colored. In fact, they look like they belong on a PC, not a Mac, and the interface is very Dialogue box$-like. It’s too terrible the artists didn’t use a small more imagination, as this could have have a huge winner, as there are 100(!) tile sets, and I will admit most of them are imaginative in concept, but drab in actuallity. Also, I’m used to a small more special effects than just a “click” sound when you match a pair of like tiles. One plus is that there are other variations of tile matching sports meeting, so you aren’t stuck on just Mahjongg solitaire. I’m just glad I didn’t buy this when it was going for $24.99, as it would have been a bit steep for what I got. I do appreciate that the developer made this for OS X, as there are a LOT more sports meeting for PC than Mac, but I just wish Masque would have used a small more affect in their product, and made it less PC-like.
