Tale Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will feature a wide array of playable heroes and villains, some of which are available from the beginning of the game, while others will need to be unlocked. Although the final list was not available at publishing time, some of the faces from the Marvel universe that players can count on seeing include: Daredevil, Green Goblin, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Mr. Fantastic, Deadpool, Juggernaut, Thing, Spider-Man, Storm, Songbird, Thor, Iron Fist, Wolverine, Venom and Gambit. Gameplay As with the original Marvel Ultimate Alliance, the new version of the game is an action RPG in which players make their own fighting team made up of four super heroes/villains. The makeup of teams can be changed as the player chooses, and characters can be leveled up as they gain experience and the game progresses. In addition, the separate powers of super heroes can be combined, or “fused,” resulting in unique abilities that are devastating in combat. The game contains over 250 of these fused powers that only await the right combination in battle to be released. Key Game Features

The worst game I’ve ever played for ps3…
The graphics seems like ps2 ones…
Don’t buy it!

I generally do a lot of research before buying a game. But I bought this one even after the poor reviews because I’m a huge marvel fan. What a let down this game turned out to be.
Graphics :
Its certainly not on par with the contemporary gen sports meeting. Its just ok, not anything more than average.
The cutscenes are of very poor quality, both from graphics and management point of view.
MUA 1 had some superb cutscenes to show off. None of that ’s here.
Gameplay:
By now most of you have heard about the bugs: characters getting stuck, repeatedly resetting to ‘auto spend’ character points, enemy soldiers walking in the air. And DLCs should be coming. So optimistically speaking, we can take upon yourself that they would be fixed very soon.
BUT… the core game play cant be fixed & sadly its very poor. What’s there isn’t terrible but its just too small ‘to do’. This game plays the same as MUA 1 but all the customizations and collectible equipments form MUA 1 has been greatly and i mean GREATLY stripped down. Now its like a ‘kindergarten RPG’. Even X-Men Legends 1 had more ‘to do’ gameplay in it than MUA 2.
This is a linear game. Atleast they could have done the level design right. Even the level design in this game is poor. Certain level have these small path patterns that are repeated owing to out that level. Some levels are very similar to MUA 1.
They took 3 years to make this game. I had very high hopes.
MUA 1 made huge improvements over X-men Legends 2.
Shockingly MUA 2 takes several steps backwards.
I have returned my copy.
Certainly don’t buy this. You can rent it if you want. But I suggest not to dissipate your time on this one.

This game was passable. My kids liked it except they did not know why the Superheroes were fighting each other. I did not either, not being familiar with the “Cival War”. But then I did learn and I was laughing pretty hard. So, in a society where you need to register to own a gun, its a huge deal to register when you are the equivalent of a nuclear weapon? Gimme a break. Anyway, once I clarified to the kids the heroes are fighting because some novelist has the political sense and common sense of a comic book store owner they understood exactly. Well, no they didn’t. But they still liked it. In person, I found it kind of simplistic and dull.
