splendid deal, real cheap now that gamecube is last gen. but sports meeting like smash bros brawl work with the game cube controllers (better than wii-motes). lets u sit further back and comfortably.

I’v been useing this with my GameCube controller and Wii to play Smash Brothers Braw for the past few weeks now and it does it’s job. The extension I got had the cord extension in a plastic encloser so it’s nice to store instead of just having cable all over the place.

I too received generic 6ft cables. These will be going back. Based on the other reviews here, I would not buy from this seller again. UPDATE: After emailing them, they sent out the right cables at no charge and did not require the ancient cables to be sent back. They are not the cables pictured here, but are silver braided as the description mentions.
