If you were a fan of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong racing, this game is for you. The graphics are incredible. Loads of trophies and fun races. Very cute game.

I bought the PS3 game for my son’s 8th birthday gift and he just likes it! and can’t stop playing it. It’s in fact a pretty decent game for younger kids, since most of game for PS3 are so hard to play. If you have children in the age of 7-10, I would reflect this is a excellent game for them. I in fact end up buying a second controller in order to play with my son ..:)

just got this for their new PS3…they are loving it! It’s very similar to Nintendo’s MarioKart which they have already on their DS’s. It’s a lot of fun, splendid family game for the PS3!

We bought this game for our 5-year-ancient son for Christmas as his first game to play on our PS3. It’s moderately fun for grown-ups but very challenging for the small ones –I have 2 major complaints with this game:
#1- There is no “free driving” mode where a kid can just have fun driving around and check out the tracks. It is NOT fun for a 5-year ancient to come in 6th place every time when he really just wants to guide around. This is his first racing game and we have to teach him about potential-ups, tricks, turbo, and shortcuts and it’s hard to do that in this game since it is set up to be frenzied-competitive.
#2- On Multiplayer mode you cannot disable the computer characters. I’d like to be able to just play one on one with my son in order to teach him the tracks but again the computer players make this very hard and I wind up with a frustrated 5-year ancient in 6th (or 5th if I hold back and just follow him around the track)place.
I’ve been playing sports meeting for about 20 years, we have a PS3 and a Wii at the house and play a lot of sports meeting. I know the concept of racing sports meeting, but thought that one marketed solely at kids would be a bit-more kid-friendly. They already had the game built–would it have cost them anything to place in a free-race mode? We were hoping to be able to have this game that all three of us could play on the PS3 but in fact my son is so frustrated we’ll probably be putting this one away for 6 months to a year and get him back on some of my Wii sports meeting.
