I deleted my ancient review and am replacing it with this one star middle finger review.
1. A internet connection is needed…that fact isn’t listed in the manufacture’s discription.
2. Minimal supplies….that fact isn’t listed in the manufacture’s discription either.
Here are the minimum system supplies;
OS Windows XP. (I’m runnin outlook 32 bit and it runs fine.)
CPU Intel Pentium 4 at the bottom of HT technology AMD Athlon 64
Ram 512 MB (Windows XP) 1 GB (Windows Outlook
Hard Guide 8.0 BG
Monitor 800×600
DVD-ROM guide DVD9 compatible
Video Card VRAM 256 MB. DirextX 9.0c/ Shader 3.0 NIVIDIA GeForce 6600 series
Sound DirectSound compatible; DirectX 9.0c (PC audio solution containing Dolby Digital Live required for Dolby Digital audio)
Imput Devices Mouse. Keyboard
Internet Broadband connection required for online battle.
Anyway, I don’t have broadband but I wasn’t gonna battle any of you and you don’t need it to get this thing running. But the internet is needed to get it running.
The game itself runs okay….but it was more movie than game. I would have given it a solid three stars.
Finally, check my reviews on ‘the Orange Box/F.E.A.R. 2/Mass Effect, to see where I’m coming from in all these low star ratings.
bye.

The game is fun, but is necessarily the same as the original. The on-line additions add to the game. But, I cannot give the seller a very nice response, since I ordered one and got two and when I emailed them to tell them to fix the order, the email was never answered. It makes me believe a friend of mine who told me to avoid buying harvest from companies not in the US and now I believe him and will avoid buy of sports meeting from outside the USA. That is the reason for the release stars. The game itself is fun to play, but unless you have a gaming PC you’ll have graphic problems and no where do they tell you how to really quit the game. Even when you press quit, it doesn’t. Try Alt-Tab sometimes it works, sometimes……

Not to say Break isn’t a splendid game. But there are 3 reasons I reflect this game kicks Break’s BUTT. 1, they don’t have Break for the pc, do they? 2, I realized Lost Planet looked A LOT like Break. So, I went and checked the release dates of both sports meeting, and just as I thought, it was Break who copied Lost Planet. My favorite game was Break, until I found out it was just a copy of a greater game: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. And 3, Break has nearly no tale whatsoever. There is no romance. Not to say Lost Planet has much, but you can kinda see Wayne developing feelings for Luka. (and Luka, by the way, is pretty, and the girl in Break is one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen.) At the very end, I reflect Luka and Wayne might have been about to kiss, but I can’t say for sure. The only real goal in Break is to stop the pacificans. BORING!!!!! In Lost Planet, the goals are to avenge your member of the clergy, stop the Frontier Scheme, and find a better way to warm the planet. Final victory in lp is much more satisfying than in Break. Now, on to the real gameplay. (Oh, and by the way, I’m done comparing lp to break if you were getting bored by that.) Bosses. They’re all splendid. I found the simplest to be the Mission 7 boss, the toughest to be the Mission 9 boss, and my favorite to be the Mission 10 first boss. There are 12 bosses in all. One at the end of each mission, and 2 in mission 10. Difficluty. I played owing to the game on hard. The difficulties are simple normal hard and extreme. Hard is satisfyingly hard, but extreme is just insane. I cant even get past mission 2 on extreme! EAsy and normal are too simple, so play owing to on hard the first time. Weapons. The Weapons in this game are FANTASTIC. There have got to be at least 20 or 30 in the game. Not anything conmpared to the amount in Halo, but I don’t reflect any game can beat that. My favorite weapon is of course, the sniper rifle. I also like how you can rip guns off VSs and carry them around, even though they’re HUGE. My favorite VS gun is the EM Laser. Vehicles. The VS thought is splendid, there are so many; if they had stuck with real army vehcles their options would’ve been limited. My favorite VS is Wayne’s dad’s (of course), but I also like the NEVEC one that transforms into a tank. Multiplayer. Incredible. There are so many different weapons, guns and maps that make playing lost planet with Windows Live splendid. The colonies edition offers some new maps and multiplayer modes and even some new guns, which is a excellent deal for 10 bucks more. Don’t get the colonies edition if you arent going to play online. The release player is no different from the original lp. Also, get the wireless Xbox 360 controller to go with this game. Only then will the game deserve 5/5 stars. Buy it.

Pretty decent game but hard to get into, over all i like myself some 3rd person shooters!!!

This is perhaps the best of the console ports i have played as the game runs very well. Being a PC gamer i never thought i would say this but i read somewhere, perhaps here, that the game should be played with a 360 controller and i agree. While im enjoying this game very much the movement of the avatar isnt as quick as im used to when playing a shooter game. So for me its a 4 star game perhaps 4 and 1/2 as my minor complaint does small to hinder the fun. I would recomend this game to any shooter/adventure game fan.
