I recently bought this game because I wanted to play a rpg the last excellent one i played was tales of phantasia whic i beat really quick, anyways i was going on fieldtrip whic the bus ride was 3 hours long, i needed a game. I have a lot of rpgs for the ds so i was expexting this one to suck, a lot, and when i say that i mean a lot. To my bolt from the blue this game had really excellent graphics, as far as sprites go. Also the sound was really excellent. To be honset the storyline is basicly the same as it is for most rpgs but it is very intersting never the less. The gameplay is excellent, some people say its hard to go the screen which its not but i would of liked a button the went the screen fatser. Also controlling units is very simple. If u like pokemon or warcraft or diablo, this is defintly the game for you.

the stylus system is excellent, but it can be hard to accurately draws runes quickly to avoid attacks. When you cast a spell the monsters still attack, you so should cast spells quickly. If you do not, you may die (trust me, this has happened repeatedly to me). Other from commanding monsters during battles, and casting spells, the game is very devoid of life. Also the duo and trio runes are fun, but, the battles have time limits, discouraging time to experiment.

This sports meeting was very different its a mix of RPG RTS and pokemon.
The controls with the pen were a bit hard at first but became
kind of fun, the tale is predictable and sterio type. Over all
a 3/5.

Many third party titles for the DS don’t take the full advantage of the system’s stylus and touch screen that they could, but Ubi Soft and Taito’s Lost Magic is an exception. Lost Magic appears to be a tried and right RPG, and it is at it’s heart, but it’s innovative delivery and solid gameplay make it one of the better RPG’s on the DS, as well as offering some features that make it worth checking out on it’s own. Lost Magic revolves around young magician Isaac; who soon learns that the fate of the world is in his hands. Without giving too much away, Lost Magic features a splendid tale that has a surprising amount of twists and turns that will keep you interested in the game alone. What really sets Lost Magic apart from the pack though is the use of the stylus and touch screen, which nearly ends up like that of a proverbial magic wand. The game has a splendid look and approach to it as well, while providing a healthy challenge as well. This department but is where Lost Magic’s largest flaw is obvious. There is a steep learning curve that comes out of nowhere that will frustrate you. If you can get owing to this flaw but, by the side of with the buggy online multiplayer as well, you’ll find that Lost Magic is a blast regardless. All in all, Lost Magic is an fascinating and even innovative RPG for the DS that should be checked out by DS owners and RPG fans alike.

This game looks really fun. I don’t have it personaly but I’ve seen the screen plays online, and it looks really excellent! But it reminds me of the Harry Poter sports meeting for the computer for instance. When you want to learn a spell you have to draw a certain shape on the touch screen. And the grphics are kinda terrible, and it is kinda like Scurge: Hive. It seems pretty much the same, where you just go around and kill things. Besides these facts it seems like a relly cool game.
