Amazon says it is in stock but that’s a lie. They estimate it will be in stock 9/20. If I knew this upfront I wouldn’t have payed for express shipping or I might have bought it some were else.

Got this for my dual boot (XP and Win7) system because Logitech’s new driver software does not recognize the grown-up Logitech harvest I own when in Win7.
You can not install this on both systems in a dual boot environment.
The vertical scroll is too quick and can NOT be adjusted slower. No detent on scroll.
The vertical scroll takes too long to ‘wake up’ when switching to some apps and does not work at all for certain panels (like the lower pane of Windows Disk Management utility).
No pointer on DPI setting. No description of how to separately set (and monitor) X vs Y axes DPI setting when they are set separately.
Uninstalled and returned.

Watch out if you own a mac- the logitech drivers don’t recognize it, and the mouse isn’t supported on macs. It’s a nice mouse, excellent build quality, comfortable to use- but if you need to map the buttons to do anything, you’re out of luck.
Plenty of folks use gaming mice who aren’t gamers (I’m a developer and prefer a high-quality, open mouse with lots o’ buttons)- it’s irritating that logitech can’t be bothered to update their drivers to support their best (and most expensive!) harvest.

The Mouse itself works very well as a plug and play device. But, the included software is junk. I am running Outlook and could never get it to install. I spent hours on the boards and tech sites and tried every suggestion to no avail. If you want to use the mouse to its full potential you are out of luck without the software. I bought this as a gift and am very disappointed.
