LEGO STUNT RALLY on Game Boy Affect is a racer with a leg up on the competition! As in many racers, your goal is to get to the end line first in order to win fame and fortune or at least a few first-place medals. But, LEGO has always been about building, and LEGO STUNT RALLY is no different. You’ll have to construct each of the tracks yourself using a variety of pieces containing curves, stunt pieces, and others. There are four different track themes, each with their own pieces: you can make a city track, a desert track, a mud track, and an ice track. Once you’ve built the track, it’s time to race! Your competitors on the track will fight tooth and nail to beat you to the end, so you’d better make sure you use the knowledge of the track’s setup to your strategic advantage. Building and making is what made the LEGO franchise so legendary. In LEGO Stunt Revive, not only can you design and make your own tracks by connecting various stunt pieces, but you can also test them out by racing on them.
This LEGO adventure takes place on Stunt Island, where Mr. X is the supreme ruler. Win enough races and you will go head-to-head with the man himself. When and if you defeat Mr. X, he will announce his retirement and Stunt Island will be yours.
LEGO Stunt Revive was made for younger gamers in mind. It’s pretty simple to play, but there are plenty of extras to keep kids busy. For example, the game features close to 20 different stunt elements that gamers can collect. Also, each time you win a race you win a new car, block, or trick, which can be utilized to enhance your car’s performance. The track editor is another nice touch and is one of this game’s reduction graces. It features ramps, potential-ups, and trees, but you can also add turbo boosts and supergrip potential-ups to help your car stay on the track.
On the other hand, the graphics in Stunt Revive are substandard even in Game Boy Affect terms, and the gameplay is very limited. The driving part of the game leaves a lot to be desired. You cannot turn or brake, but you can control the alacrity of your vehicle.
The game will interest avid LEGO-maniacs, but if you are a racing fan interested in challenging sports meeting, don’t even reflect of plugging this title into your Game Boy Affect. –Todd Mowatt

Although you claim this game will run in Windows ME I have bought it (in the UK) and it doesn’t. Every attempt to friend Lego Media to resolve meets with silence and I still have a game that my 7 year ancient son got for christmas cannot run. On trawling the net I have come across others with the same conundrum – so if you have Windows ME avoid this game!

I like the way you can build your own tracks and you get cars and stuuf when you win a race.

My son is crazy about this game. He would play all day if I let him. He likes everything about it, from designing the track to making the cars to racing. He also likes the various characters in the game. It is his resolution favorite. He would recommend it highly.
