It is quite a excellent game for kids but is not worth top dollar. Also it crashes if you play it for more than an hour. I had to return it.

Heard this was a splendid game for my kids – so I bought it. Found out I didn’t heed all of the system supplies written in extra fine print on the box. This game will not play unless your video card supports something called ‘pixel shader 1.1′. You will get a message saying ‘FATAL ERROR: “Sorry, but your machine is unable to run this game. It requires a graphics card which supports Pixel Shaders v1.1. The Game will now exit.” That’s it, you’re done for, you can’t play this game until you upgrade your video card with one that is ‘Pixel Shader 1.1′ and ACTIVEX 9.0C compliant. There is no driver or firmware update you can get for your video card to make it compliant! You will have to shell out another $30 – $60 for a new video card to play this game. And you won’t be able to get your cash back on the game either – because it’s been opened! I reflect LEGO or the maker of this game should place this hardware condition IN BIG LETTERS ON THE BOX! Feeling ripped off by a company I once trusted.

This by far is the worst Star Wars game out there. The Pod Racing part is irritating and too long (I gave up after about 20 tries), it’s nearly impossible to catch up with the main pod racer. There is way too much coin or what ever you want to call it collecting. There was no need for this, the lego concept I thought was pretty cool but they could have done without the above mentioned and this game would have been alot better.

I like Star Wars, but not anything small of a Jedi Mind Trick could make me recommend this game. I realize the game is for children, but there was so much more that could have been done to make this title more fascinating. Some of the cut scenes were cute, but by and large the graphics were lacking and the levels tedious and repetitive. I got really tired of collecting studs and hearts. Two player mode was marginally better, but the game was frustrating during levels like the Pod Race since the game doesn’t use splitscreen. You’ll find that one player will most likely need to drop out and let the other end the race just to get to the next level. Small children will like this game, but 10 and up should look forward to the release of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith game due out in May.

The game is a splendid concept but once you get over that it is kind of dull.
I reflect the game is aimed at kids, so for small ones it may be worth it. I got bored with it after about a half hour and haven’t played it since.
