“I am very saddened that the members of the former FAN-GAME King’s Quest IX, are taking out their frustrations on this forum instead of dealing with the company itself.” I just want to point out that the Unofficial KQIX TEAM is NOT taking their frustrations out on Vivendi. Many of the fans are upset that the game has been shut down, and quite a few of them are threatening to boycott Vivendi. I, myself, am a fan and, while I’m upset, I know that VU was protecting themselves as a company. Will I buy the compilation? I don’t know. I’m a graduate apprentice with limited funds…plus, I don’t want to buy it unless I know KQV and VI will work without DosBox (I STILL haven’t figured out how to get it to work…)

I expected this to be the old game stories, but re-done with nicer graphics. Unfortunately it was only the really old Apple Computer games, which can’t even use a mouse, and require you to write in what you want the character to do. Plus, it takes forever for the guy/girl to even move across the screen. It didn’t say Anywhere on the box that it was the old game just put on a CD. I still have those on floppy discs somewhere. I wouldn’t have had to buy this if I just wanted the old ones!! Stacy >^.,.^<

I was just wondering if anyone has bought this yet. Does it include KQ1-8?, or is it just an updated rerelease of KQ1-6?

So yeah, I was a small disappointed that KQIX is no more…but why stop buying the sports meeting? We’re probably better off at the bottom of Vivendi to show them how huge the fan base for Kings Quest really is. Maybe then We’ll get an official KQIX and everyone can be pleased…
Has anyone heard what this compilation has in it?
