I’ve only played the demo, so things may be different in the full game. But, IMHO, this is simply a graphical makeover of 3DO’s original Heroes of Might & Magic. It’s pretty to look at, but it’s still just HOMM. If you like that kind game, this is a excellent one. But if you were looking for something like Might & Magic or Wizardry…this isn’t it. I do agree with other reviewers, it’s excellent to see a turn based game; they’re getting rare.

I didn’t like that you don’t get to control your own character at all during the fights, and I also didnt like the way the recruit mechanics worked. The stacked unit system is perplexing when trying to determine unit strength and shape. I reflect it would’ve been much more fun if they in fact were just a release unit that perhaps could grow in strength as well.

I bought this game simply because of the many five star reviews. I did delight in the cute colorful graphics and storylines. The interface I found a bit hard. The heroe was unable to dismount from the horse ever. I have to say that it had some fascinating qualities such as a heap of fun small baddies to battle, but note, all were fought on grids, which just was not my favorite way to play.
Having played copious sports meeting, this one is different, and a bit dated, but again, perfectly done, with cute storylines. I really despise to discourage anyone from playing it because it has so many wonderful qualities to be honest.
The conundrum was not computer related. We played it on Outlook without any problems.
Computer has Nvidia GEForce 8600 GT, 3.5 gigs Ram.
The hexagonal game penetrate grid combat was not my favorite way to battle.
If you loved Nothingness, and Fallout stylishness sports meeting that doesnt necessarily mean you will not like this game, you just have to see for yourself.
Even Zelda, Okarina of Time was a lot more fun to play but again, it’s stylishness is just different and there are so many excellent things about it that I despise to be overly unenthusiastic. If you are looking for something Fallout or Nothingness-esque, this is not that. But I gave it more of a chance playing it thoroughly and I am sure there will be those that truly find it enjoyable. I did have fun playing it even though it was not my very favorite of all times.
Excellent things about it:
Colorful graphics.

If you like Heroes of Might and Magic you will like this. If you dont you wont. End of discussion

I would normally give this game 4 of 5 stars losing only one for lack of replay regard because of the release scenario. The game is fun fascinating & witty in spots and even allows for character progression and customization. The graphics are gorgeous and music is excellent if abit repetitive. The one thing I can’t stand is that even after they have issued a patch for some issues it still crashes every few hours and this game takes many hours to play. Now I dont know about most of you but having to reboot outlook without being able to shut the computer down because of a game bug is not my thought of cool
