I despise to rag on this game, as I was excited for its release. The conundrum is, it’s just too bloody simple. You can end this game, even on the toughest settings in less than 10 hours, and I took about 7 to end it. You don’t even need to use the special cover/blindfire system to make it owing to the game. While the cover system is a clean thought, the AI is so brain-dead, it’s not a necessity.
Level design is nice, but small. And the graphics are brilliant, though the sound is only so-so.
Lastly, there’s the storyline, which has a nice twist to it, but isn’t needed at all to keep the game going.
This game is an brilliant rental, but buying it would be a huge mistake.

I will agree that the AI in this game as well as the graphics are pretty excellent. But it does NOT compare to Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell because those are secrecy based sports meeting. Kill Switch is nearly impossible to be stealthy. There are several types of weapons, but basically it doesnt matter because they kill the same. You have a sniper rifle that its worthless because you barely see the enemy owing to the scope and they still shoot at you and hit you. The blind shooting “advantage” really just sucks, you couldnt hit the freakin wall if it was an inch in front you. The tale in the begining looks intriguing but as the game progresses you find that its just your tipical ‘Im coming to get you for revenge’. The only challenge that this game represents is to see if you can outlive 20 guys shooting at you, other than that, it doesnt require any thinking. I am very disappointed with this game and I wish I could get my cash back, but I lost the receipt.

Darn it! I can’t stop vast from the gameplay. Let’s see…shoot, hide, advance. Shoot, hide, advance. Oh yeah, then there’s shoot, hide, advance. This game is so repetitive it’s ridiculous. I’d rather have forked out the cash to buy the commercials advertising this game than in fact playing it myself. Of course there’s no save anywhere feature, so if you manage to die just before the end of the level, you get to shoot, hide, advance all over again. I’m not going to even mention the graphics. Absolutely terrible! I got rid of this cheeseball game after I finished it and traded it in for a bag of rocks because I must be a rock for buying this crap.
Still, No One Lives Forever for Playstation 2 ranks among the worst sports meeting to have splendid potential and produce garbage.

This game was incredible as far as graphics and controls go. The gameplay was weird, because you don’t really know what’s going on for a while. The tale doesn’t come clean until near the end of the game. Also, some of the levels were wayyyy to hard. I attempted one level 12 times before I beat it. Come on, I play video sports meeting every day, if a rookie played this, he’d give up after his first 5 tries. Finally, the blindfire really isn’t that splendid because the shots miss incredibly and don’t have the desired effect of making the enemy scatter. I never knew which grenade was which and you can dissipate ammo very easily. Don’t dissipate your time on this game, wait for Metal Gear Solid 3.
