My kids like the karaoke sports meeting in general. This one is fun especially if you like country music but “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy” is on there and I don’t reflect that is a appropriate song for kids.

I like the game so far, but I’m also in fact having a pretty significant technical conundrum with the game. I suspect the game works just fine for 99% of the readers here, so people will just reflect I’m crazy. Sigh, oh well.
We were really surprised to learn that the Karaoke Revolution Country lyrics were unreadable as they scrolled to the left. I’m projecting from my PS2 via Sony component cable (the newer PS3/PS2 version) to a Benq PB6200 DLP projector. Everything else in the game looks about as crisp as I could expect, including the stationary text elements, but the scrolling text is basically impossible to read if you don’t already have an thought what the lyrics are. There’s really no way for me to learn any of the songs I don’t already know (which, for someone who doesn’t listen to country much, amounts to a lot of the songs). And a couple of friends have confirmed the same conundrum in my home, so it’s not just my eyes. =]
I also chose to try to feed the indicate into my 24″ iMac. I didn’t have any way to go from component to firewire, so I had to switch back to the PS2 composite video cable so I could play the live feed owing to an app called Vidi (which takes in video the same way iMovie accepts a firewire feed from a camcorder). To my shock, the same conundrum with the lyrics existed. Unreadable. I popped in Karaoke Revolution: American Idol just to see if it was the Country version that was the conundrum. Same blurry lyrics. So I want to believe it’s not the game (as I’ve seen it look just fine at other people’s houses), but I honestly don’t know how to right the conundrum!
I’d like to hear about any solutions to overcome this conundrum! If not anything else, it certainly makes me appreciate SingStar’s lyrics system (no motion)!

I’ve wanted to buy this game for a long time, but due to the popularity of the title due to the time of release and my buy timing, I failed to get this title added to my pool. This is truly a family fun game and a party game. Either way, it’s a splendid addition to your pool if you like singing sports meeting.
