This is a excellent action beat ‘em up game, similar to ancient sports meeting like final fight, streets of rage, double dragon etc… with DC setting and flash of course.
Excellent graphics, cool details. Music is excellent. Cool levels. Enemies show some intelligence. Gameplay is unadorned and fun. Only conundrum is the game is too small, only 1 or 2 hours to end.
If it had 2 or more extra complete level and boss then this game would be splendid. Maybe another usable player too.
By and large a excellent very very small game.

i really like the flash and loved justice league heroes for the ps2. i have mixed emotions about this game. it is a fun small game, the flash animations and attacks are cool and there are some excellent bonuses like a flash vs superman race. but the real conundrum here is the game is so so so small. by and large a fun game. hopefully in the future we’ll get some handheld superhero sports meeting with the same attention but more length.

With Justice League Heroes hitting the home consoles, this GBA game got churned out as well, which takes the focus away from Superman, Batman, Marvel Woman, and Green Hurricane lantern, and instead focuses on the fastest man alive, the Flash. And guess what? It’s surprisingly excellent superhero fun. Yeah, it looks like the standard Final Fight stylishness beat ‘em up, but the Flash’s super alacrity is used so excellent here that it sets the game apart from the pack. You can use a quick burst of alacrity to knock around your enemies, or you can slow down time and go ultra quick so your foes don’t stand a chance, and in heavy situations, you can call for help from Superman, Marvel Woman, and Martian Manhunter. The graphics are solid enough, using small character sprites that look excellent, and voice effects for the characters that work well too. The bosses include such Flash rogue favorites like Gorilla Grood and Professor Zoom as you trek owing to Keystone City, Gotham City, and more to take on Brainiac, which shouldn’t take you too long because sadly the game is a small on the small side. Not to mention that some other Flash rogues would have been welcome, like fan favorites like Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, Trickster, or Mirror Master; which would have fit better here than Killer Frost. Despite that though, Justice League Heroes: The Flash is a surprisingly excellent superhero beat ‘em up that nicely captures the spirit of the Flash, and it’s certainly worth checking out for Flash fans.
