In JumpStart Dino Adventure, players travel back in time to Dinosaur Land via a magical time machine. In order to return home, players must first help a mother pterodactyl find her lost eggs. As players explore the prehistoric terrain, they will learn five adventure-stylishness sports meeting, each with three levels of gameplay, designed to build skills such as shape and pattern recognition, similarities and differences, memory, letters, and numbers. As players complete each of the challenges, they are rewarded with a dinosaur egg that was stolen from the pterodactyl nest. Once all the challenges have been completed, players are further rewarded by an animation of all the eggs in the nest hatching, and the baby dinosaurs that emerge dancing with joy.

This was my daughter first game boy game. I got it for her when she turned 5 years ancient and really loved the game. There is a lot of reading in the beginning. It is a real confident boost when she says “I did it”

My 4 1/2 yr ancient son likes dinosaurs and thought this would be a fun game about them. Instead the game had a lot of reading before you could start playing. The sports meeting were educational, ie: ABC’s, number’s, affect’s but not presented in a fun way…if you didn’t get the right answer you went back to the beginning. We have Reader Rabbit and Jump Start sports meeting for the pc and they are much better.
