This game shows off the PS2’s graphical prowess, or what passes for graphical prowess on a PS2. The controls are very simple to pick up, and if you don’t demand anything from your sports meeting then this will probably satisfy you. But, I found that collecting potential cells and eco was a tedious task rather beneath someone of my intellectual stature. The physics of the game were astoundingly poor; who ever heard of a “double jump”? Even on the moon, with its unique gravity, Neil Armstrong was unable to do a double jump, and so the suggestion that a spiky-haired cartoon character can transcend the laws of physics is both preposterous and offensive.
Furthermore, it has been noted in countless reviews that Daxter, the sidekick, is not irritating, and even perhaps droll. Incorrect, incorrect, incorrect, incorrect! You plebians know not anything! Daxter is the Newman of video sports meeting characters, the irritating sidekick that you hope will go away but never does.
In conclusion, the game looks nice, plays nice, but is ultimately dull and undeserving of my attention. Go play Dynasty Warriors or SSX Tough instead!

This.. game… STUNK!!!!!!!! Do not play. The storyline is absolutely stupid. The missions arent even fun. Just dont play it. It’s just a dissipate of time and cash.

“Mommy! Mommy!” cries a small sissy boy. “Can we go to the store and buy Jak and Daxter because i am such a spoiled small brat?” The mom should comeback “Well you are a small spoiled brat so you get to get beaten!!” After hours of reckless beating the bruised boy questions again “Now can we go get the game?” the mom should say “That game is to stupid for you. its to stupid for anyone. Ha Ha Ha!!! You dont get the game!!! Now you small brat go do the dishes before i conk your scrawny small butt!”
