This is NOT a Sega Genesis II plug. It is for Game Gear, and will not work on the Sega Genesis.
Attempts to get the proper plug from Beach Audio were ignored. They questioned me to return the product, but never sent the categorize for me to do so.
Just be warned if you’re getting thing for anything but a Game Gear.

the potential cord for the game gear comes handy you see for the game gear batterys die to quick and you have to use use 6 batterys so the potential cord is a huge heads up for the game gear
