If any of you have wondered if this game is worth buying, don’t marvel any more! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Especially if you’ve played The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction which was the best Hulk game ever made! You can pick that one up right now for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube.
It’s incredible to me that “The Incredible Hulk” copied nearly everything from “The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction” but somehow managed to come up with a vastly inferior product. Keep in mind, these sports meeting are from completely different developers!! What’s that adage about “imitation being the sincerest form of flattery”? But, the Hulk character in the new game is perfectly rendered and it looks realer and more expressive of how the Hulk should look, even compared to the newest movie version of him with Ed Norton and Tim Roth… go figure! Why couldn’t they use the same guys who made the game to render the CGI Hulk in the movie? The new Hulk doesn’t look much better than Ang Lee’s version! He still looks goofy as hell, not to mention out of place… but I digress!
The Hulk looking very realistic is splendid, but why they had to make every other object, individual and building suffer graphically, I have not the slightest clue! But, in regards to gameplay it gets a failing grade! THIS IS A CLEAR EXAMPLE WHERE GRAPHICS DO NOT MAKE THE GAME – GAMEPLAY DOES!!! They replaced the extremely fun action of Hulk running up buildings, even with objects in hand, with the absolutely dull and ridiculous ape-climbing tactics of King Kong, wherein you can’t have anything in your hands like cars and buses – Booooo!. Sure, the climbing is a tad more realistic, but fun it is not!!
There are so many more things to do, abilities and combos to unlock in the grown-up “The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction” game that you’re spoiled when you play this newer one because you’re looking for an extension of that same extremely fun addiction to the wide volume of missions, activities, combos and destruction, only to be vastly disappointed! It makes me seriously want to order the grown-up one for $9.99 even though I completed it twice! It’s still an resolution blast, last-gen graphics or not!
To be honest, the newer Hulk game on the Xbox and PS3, The Incredible Hulk, can be fun in that nearly every object in the game is destructible, even buildings! So, if you have a inclination for destroying things in gargantuan Hulk fashion, this might be the game for you (no it isn’t!). I have to mention that the character voice acting by Ed Norton is so uninspiring that you scarcely notice it’s him! Being that I really like him as an actor, it makes me reflect that voice acting must not be his forte!

The details of the Hulk character in the game are awesome, the rest kind of stinks. Theres a large fully interactive world for Hulk to ruin, but
game is riddled with bugs, unusual slowdowns, and unnecessary load screens. Even voice overs from the actual actors couldn’t help this game. Visibly its just another movie game to avoid.

Ok, this game is not terrible at all, but it just lacks that fun feeling that HULK: ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION had, but still if you ara a huge comics fan like I am, and want an simple game to play every now and thn or just want to smash things up, I recomend this game, the graphics are splendid, the game play is ok, not as excellent as ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION, the tale line, is a bit dull but I can live with that.
So there you go, hope this hleps.

This game is really fun. I had a wonderful time playing this game and I reflect everyone should play it. The tale is fun to play and the achievements are fun to get. The achievements upgrades your skills, which comes useful in the tale mode. I would buy this game agian, really fun.

The storyline is nearly inexistent. Most of the times, you’re only receiving messages that tells you about your next mission. The game has small approach, most of it is only destruction.
