This game is so much fun! My friend has it and I’m getting it before long. It is the most most fun I have ever had. But I do have a question. Does it come with the mats or do you have to buy them seperatly?

Since In The Groove wasn’t in the Philippines yet, I have its home version. The graphics were splendid, songs were splendid, backround was splendid and catchy to the tune. One tune I know is “My Favourite Game” by: Natalie Brown. Did you guys know that song was the theme song of GT2 and I couldn’t believe it and it’s remixed. But best part is, you get to use your hands which is fun to do. One song with many hands is “Bend Your Mind” by: Reflection Theory from Simple-Expert. ITG (In The Groove) is a game which simulate alacrity dancing causes you much of your agility.
Pros: Be agile.
Cons: Choose the song that fits you most.

While the step sequences in this game certainly ascend into impossibility at extreme difficulty, that is the only feature for which I could fathom someone buying this game.
I play a lot of DDR, and In The Groove really hasn’t yet figured it out.
The music tracks are quite blase attempts at ‘techno’ music from generally unheard of artists. The over all controls are not particularly intuitive, nor are the normal load-delays entertaining.
As a piece of software, the by and large fit and end of this product is poor.
If you are a really hard core, bar-gimping DDR freak who has AAA’d Maxx 300 and its brethren, perhaps In The Groove is for you.

Load times people, load times. You can’t make you own marathon courses and some form of endless mode would have been splendid. Still it is a splendid game that any ddr fan should own.

Son likes – hours of use and fun. No customer support due to litigation between Roxor and Konami.
NOTE PROGRAM BUG: do not save when songs are listed under “top grade” option. The game will freeze on next reload. Should you set it that way and forget it’s an simple fix. Pull out the memory card, load game in normally, then at main menu re-insert memory card and save. Fixes “top grade” bug easily, but doesn’t keep any score to that point. Found this fix after buying the game for the THIRD time. Of course the first two disks worked fine with the fix!
