Our 9 year ancient daughter was thrilled to see the “Presume: Soccer Captain” game on DS. She’s an avid soccer player; and the features of the game sounded splendid. But, some of the kids on the game talk really snotty and rude. This game doesn’t demonstrate teamwork and clear pointer, as the kids today are being coached in real life. We were very disappointed and finally had to turn off the game because the words in it were not sportsmanlike at all. I now see on the box that there’s “mild language”. Rather than this being fun and exciting, the girls on the team have poor attitudes–they need to talk more “teamwork” and less being snotty. As my daughter says, “we don’t want kids to talk so snotty”. Save your cash and pass on this one. The thought of this game is splendid; if only they’d remove the words.

I am so pleased they finally made a excellent sports game for young girls!
My daughter likes this game which not only allows you to play soccer sports meeting but lets you manage the team as well. She is very excited that she has been able to cooperate with the likes of Mia Hamm. It’s fascinating to hear her talk about the comings and goings of players and how excited she gets when playing each game.
I highly recommend it for younger soccer players!

This was bought for my 8 year ancient granddaughter as she particularly questioned for this game for Christmas. I have watched her have many hours of enjoyment with it on her DS. When questioned for pointer she said “It’s splendid. You know I play it all the time.” Her 2 sisters (ages 10 and 12)borrow it often so I know they really like it also. These children are fortunate to have many options when they want to play sports meeting so the amount of time they play this game makes it obvious that they all like it a lot.

I bought this game for my 9 year-ancient daughter who likes to play soccer. She really enjoys playing the game. She never gets bored playing and likes that it is a game for girls where things can be somewhat customized. It is certainly one of her favorite sports meeting.

I’m a huge fan of the Presume sports meeting and have everyone of them and have pre-ordered the ones waiting to be released and I can say this may have not been on of the best, but it was far from being the worst.
In the game, you are the captain of a soccer team and it’s your job to lead your team to victory. The game-play is excellent and you can choose the difficulty and length, in minutes, of each game before you play it. You can also design the uniforms (shirts, shorts, logos, socks, shoes and accessories) and the physical traits (hair stylishness and affect, eye affect, skin tone, names etc.) of your character and of each partner. Also, as you progress owing to the game, you accumulate fans and sponsors which, in turn, allows for more shirts, shorts, etc. to be unlocked.
I read in another review that this game doesn’t promote teamwork and I would have to disagree. In the game there is a partner that is a snob and thinks she is better than everybody else, but the way the game deals with this situation is having your character and the other teammates strive to work together and tries to include the other girl, even though she doesn’t want to participate, the game shows this as being incorrect and that teamwork is the way to go! If anything it does the contrary of what this other reviewer said. I’m glad the game developers show kids an example, with this snotty girl, of how not to act and how they underline teamwork owing to the actions of the other teammates and the coach. I wish there were more sports meeting like this considering the world we live in today. There’s no violence, nasty words, nudity, etc. and if seeing a girl who thinks she’s better than everybody else, acting snotty and not wanting to play on team, is the worst things my kids see or hear, I’ll get on my knees and thank God! If your a girl and a soccer fan or know one and like the Nintendo DS, this game is the way to go!
