For the most part, this cd-rom is nice if you can find at least 2 or 3 sports meeting that you delight in. The only real downsides I see so far in the one day I played it so far yesterday are 1: Where in the world is Tony the Firefighter? He was my prefered player in the Card Sports meeting ( I have either the ‘08 version), my NUMBER one prefered player. Everyone else is on the game but him! Bring shame on on Hoyle for not keeping him! 2: Knowing how to shoot the pool stick is downright tough!
But the most upside to this pc game is that THE MUSIC IS TOTALLY HAPPENING! WOOOOOOO-HOOOOOO…. It will leave you dancing, the music that is called Puzzle Theme. It is feel excellent disco-y music! You won’t be able to get enough of it if you like music! But when playing sports meeting, you can change the music if you want if you don’t want Puzzle Theme…
A few sports meeting on there are billiards, something similar to Battleship, Yatch ( something that Yatzee was derived from), and Mahjon. Mahjon, but, you can only play yourself or another real person. There are some other sports meeting on there as well!

This has to be one of the most irritating sports meeting I’ve ever played. The six B.B. sports meeting don’t work, I have to turn off the sound to play their version of Yahtzee because the sound effects are incredibly irritating, if you try and go a piece in their version of Parcheesi you’ll end up attempting it 4-5 times every release go because the game doesn’t recognize a go unless the piece is positioned in the exact center of the space, and most of the other sports meeting have similar flaws that are irritating for no obvious reason. Save your cash.

I delight in the variety of sports meeting, there’s always an activity to keep you interested & busy. And the dvd works with PC’s or Mac’s.

I played this on OS 9, and am delighted these sports meeting are now available in a format that will play on OS X Intel. I hope that when the next huge change in operating systems comes by the side of, the company will make these favorites playable on that system also. There is excellent reason some of these sports meeting have been well loved so long. Backgammon, for example, has existed about 5,000 years! Sports meeting such as Backgammon, Chinese Checkers, Chess, and Dominoes have stood the test of time because they are excellent challenging sports meeting requiring the ideal combination of skill, approach, and a bit of luck.

This game is no different from the 2007 one I already have. I finished up returning it because there is no difference between it and the grown-up game. Oh yes, there is a difference: you can’t go back and check your scores against the game like you could on the grown-up one. I”m going back to that one.
