I bought this game as a Christmas present for my grandmother, who has since exhausted her contemporary version from 2006. As she is grown-up, she does not have the updated computer with a DVD Guide, and I of course didn’t look closely that it only worked on a DVD guide I just assumed it would work with her operating system. In trying to install it I realized the conundrum, and immediately started searching for the CD-Rom version, which is said to be out there(per Hoyle’s support forums), but I have had no luck in finding it. In the meantime my grandma is stuck playing her ancient one, and I am just hoping I can find her a game that works.

I gave this product NO stars but the system requires something so it has one star. It won’t even load on my computer. There was supposed to be a book of rules and gaming approach included with the disc, it’ wasn’t there and the “Code” I need to download the disc is in this book. I have been in e-mail communication with the company with many promises to send me the “fix” for the conundrum, hasn’t happened yet. I’m out the price of the game disc and advise anyone looking for sports meeting to buy another brand.

I already had HC2004 and was looking forward to updated graphics, more interactive gameplay and improved game selection. What I got was just about the same thing! What was even more tough to take was it didn’t even grant the opportunity to load like an upgrade! I lost all my past history. They didn’t even offer any more choices to face maker! This whole thing is not anything more than 2004 with a couple new sports meeting. Save your cash buy a discounted copy of 2004!
