Eidos’s stylish, strategic, and nearly puzzlelike Hitman 2 makes its console debut, managing to address many of the criticisms that haunted the PC original while still falling small of its potential. The premise casts the player as a genetically modified hit man, mandatory out of retirement when things get a small personal. Each level then sets up an by and large mission, broken down into subobjectives, thankfully with a much-requested save game feature included in case things get a small hairy. This isn’t your standard walk-and-shoot kind of game, though; Hitman 2 rewards plotting, and lots of it. While there’s no fixed linear route owing to any of the levels, each will require a lot of thought to be defeated.
What limits the game’s potential are a continual stream of frustrations. The enemy artificial intelligence, for instance, is sometimes very sadly lacking, and there are occasions when the pace drops to snail-like alacrity, without always generating sufficient tension to carry the player owing to. That said, when it hits top gear Hitman 2 can be tense, atmospheric, and enjoyable. Graphically it’s very polished, and those who delight in sports meeting that reward solid thinking more than an itchy trigger finger will certainly find something to delight in. It’s undoubtedly a step forward from its predecessor, but still cascade small of what could have been. –Jon FosterAmazon.com Product Description

Ok, I’ll make it brief so you can in fact get though this, I just wanted to say, that some of these reviews are misleading, this game have excellent graphics, yeah, that’ right, but not the best graphics. They are still not as excellent as Metal Gear Solid. The main this that makes this game nearly [is terrible] is that the gameplay is aweful. You have to use the joysticks, no option to use the directional buttons. You have to use both of them, just to go, they are way too sensitive and make it so hard to go around. Also the environment is not very interactive, you don’t get do to any of the fun things, like guide the car, or boat or anything. Also, you can’t really walk around shooting people because as soon as you are detected, everyone just swarms around you and shoots you with machine guns until you die. So by and large, not really a splendid game, I wish i had rented it first, and if I had, i would never have bought it. The only reason it got 3 stars is because it’s a excellent concept for a game with pretty excellent graphics, but it could and should be Way better!
