Instant error message: “Battle for the Appeasing has encountered a conundrum and must close”. No clue what the conundrum might be … just DOA. Without a clue, I can’t fix it … and, when you come down to it, given the level of disappointment, I don’t even care at this point.
I’m an owner of, a long time player of and avid fan of Battlefield 1942 / Road to Rome and Battlefield Vietnam (Redux with WWII bonus scenarios) – so I’m not a total ignorant fool. I assumed that I would like this first person shooter, too. I guess I’ll never know … and I’ll certainly reflect twice before considering anything else from ActiVision again.

HISTORY CHANNEL AND ACTIVISION YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO USE SUCH SUBJECT MATTER TO PRODUCE SUCH A CHEAP GAME. THIS GAME IS CHEAP. THE GRAPHICS ARE THE CHEAPEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE CONTROLS ARE JERKY THE MISSIONS ARE LINEAR AND CHILDISH. NO EFFORT OR EXPENSE WERE DEPLOYED IN THE MAKING OF THIS GAME. IT IS AN INSULT TO THE MEN WHO FOUGHT AND DIED IN THE PACIFIC DURING WWII. THIS GAME IS BORING, STUPID AND CERTAINLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE OF A RENTAL NOT TO MENTION THE PURCHASE PRICE. IT IS A RIP OFF. I CAN NOT BELIVE THE HISTORY CHANNEL PUT THEIR NAME ON THIS PEACE OF CRAP. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HISTORY CHANNEL GAME.

After installing this game three times, you are left with a game that seems to play, but there is no affect. Just shades of white and 3-D ghosts. No install errors. Sent e-mail to the support address days ago, no response what so ever. May just see if we can get our cash back.
