How did the last one deserve a sequel? contracted they never finished the tale but who the hell cared? the tale was LAME. And in response to people that try to write like “right RPG fans” they aren’t this is a VERY unadorned bare bones RPG veterin RPG players will get bored and lose interest VERY quick in this game the battle system was the only redeaming quality but it couldn’t save this train wreck of a game because they wasted so much time talking. holy crap let’s sit around in town talking about everything we’re gonna do then talk about it while we do it then discuss what happened and the consequences afterwards but also for fun we’ll throw in a whole bunch of worthless dialouge that slows the process down so that it takes 3 hours just to say that you did a excellent job in the last dungeon. just wanted to shut it off at times but I had to play owing to it with the hopes that the ending would be worth it and it wasn’t worst part about the sports meeting tale was the fact that there weren’t any twists the people at nintendo made sure of that owing to over explaining every step the characters took. so unless you like wasting your time with endless dialouge skip this game.

this game is alot like the FF series. there is turn based combat, magic, djinn (gaurdian forces), and crazy weapons. but the storyline is one that could be better. It gets very hard and perplexing in alot of parts. this game is related to the FF series but it would be its 3rd cousin so to speak.
ups: excellent graphics simple to learn
downs: terrible storyline very perplexing NO reviving items (pheonix downs) you have to go to a temple in a town
by and large: not like thwe FF series for PS1
