It was suppose to be about six feet, but I am 5′10 and its shorter than me. I give it around four feet. other than that, the product worked.

I was looking for a way to use my Gamecube controller with my Wii without being limited by the controller’s small cable length, and even considered purchasing a Wavebird wireless controller. But, the actual Nintendo-produced Wavebirds are pretty expensive and the cheaper knock-offs consistently get poor reviews. This extension cable was the exact negotiate. It works splendid, and for a fraction of the price of a Wavebird I can still sit my usual space away from the TV and don’t need to go the Wii to accommodate the limited length of my GCN controller’s cord. Plus, I still get to use my quality Nintendo-produced controller and don’t need to settle for a cheaper one (which, incidentally, would also cost more than this cable). Still, a wireless controller would be ideal, but this is a very effective and economic alternative.

What can you really say about an extension cable? All I can basically say is it works. Why the GameCube controller’s cable was so small in the first place, I really don’t know. I presume it’s because it was designed for Japanese homes and rooms which are a lot smaller than American ones and Nintendo didn’t bother extending it a bit for the US homes. Or they just figured they would never get a lawsuit over the WaveBird.
Anyway, splendid product. If you’re in need of a GameCube extension cable, this is the one to pick up.

The cable came in excellent condition, works splendid. Our living room is honestly small, so our couch is right next to the tv (which is in the corner) It’s nearly impossible to play with mutilple people with the cord length of our controllers. Now we can sit back and not ruin our eyes :3
