I bought the game for a fun, interactive way to examine for the SATs and I suppose it is. It doesn’t make me feel prepared, which is my fault for looking to a game so I wouldn’t have to examine. It is interactive and fun, but there aren’t that many options and the questions aren’t that hard. So it was a fascinating buy, I’d probably NOT buy it again, but I’m not dissatisfied.

I’ve taken the SAT and have used this for studying a bit. The fun factor is decent. It seems a bit kiddish with a small drawn up figure and the displays of the game, but it is helpful. There’s math, reading, and writing. You do exercises similar to the SAT and extra types. My favorite was the game where you’re given a word and you pick out the roots for it, such as with “many,” you would choose “poly.” This is helpful to get you thinking about words more consciously and their meanings. The writing section was helpful too. You are to choose if there’s an error in the sentence, then you pick out where it is, and lastly, the correction for it. For the math, it seemed like basic math, way simpler than what’s on the real SAT. But I didn’t go very far in math. If I happened to come across a conundrum I didn’t know what to do for, there was no way of finding out. So if you feel confident in your abilities and just want some excellent practice, this game is a excellent buy. But, if you’re rather rusty and don’t know what to expect for the SAT, at least prepare yourself some. This game is quite useful by and large.

Splendid game for those not interested in studying from an SAT prep book. Perhaps it shouldn’t replace SAT prep, but as a reinforcement it works well. It is in fact fun.

I bought this game for my son who will take the SAT for the first time next month. He usually doesn’t like doing “prep” work but this was “fun”. The only “con” was that there wasn’t enough material in this game. He finished all three components in one day. Is there another level?

FutureU is a splendid way to examine for the college entrance exam. My daughter really likes the game aspect of it, but she is also learning quite a bit at the same time. The challenge is there for her. It is not an simple “game”, it is a examine guide, but my daughter feels like she won when she answers the questions correctly. She brings this on the train with her to school to get in the extra studying time needed. I would recommend FutureU to anyone trying to examine for any type of standardized test.
