Product Description
Full Metal Alchemist: The Broken Angel is based on the hit anime that’s only recently arriving on American shores. Edwin and Alphonse are brothers with the unique potential of ‘alchemy’ — the potential to transform one substance into another. When trying to save their dying parents with their powers, Edward lost two limbs and Alphonse lost his body. To keep Alphonse from dying, Edwin built him a suit of armor to hold his spirit. Edwin must master the ancient magic of the Philosopher’s Stone to recover Alphonse’s body.

Really, am I the only one who felt that the game had severe storyline issues on top of the terrible mechanics? The plot itself was bizarre and incoherant, and the additional characters they added to make it run were completely flat and uninteresting, even by video game standards. One in particular — whose name I shall not name out of respect for spoilers — was enough in one package to flush out any interest I might have had for the tale. As a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, I despised this game. As a fan of fighting and roleplaying sports meeting, I despised this game. As an excuse to dissipate a few days laughing at the dialogue and the general WTFness of some of the scenes, I admit that it had its moments… but not enough to justify buying it.

I just got this the other day and it’s probably the best I’ve even seen, and this is coming from a long time IY fan I even have the Cursed mask game (beat it in 4 days and two hours) But it hardly compares to this, I like it, even if I do like IY more, but IY anf FMA are pretty much tied. I was excited when I heard about the game, about two days after I found about the anime and four days after I started reading the Manga. The game is exactly what I cut it out to be and more. I’ve only just started considering school and all but I’m 20 minutes in and it’s already my favorite game. Five stars, sixty billion thumbs up and ten toes. Beat that Spence. I reccommend this game to any and all, as long as you follow the age shape though. (I don’t but it’s ok.)

This game is very fascinating, with lots of intense battle scenes, and puzzles you must solve. It is unique in that you make your own weapons. Owing to out the game, you start to learn more and more about the plot, meeting characters, only to have them dissapear and re-apear at a crutial molment. I really liked this game and would encourage others to play it as well. Excellent graphics, and a very fascinating plot, from fighting wild chemeras to corrupt military men. My favorite game for PS2!

I had a lot of fun with this game! I loved the music, the graphics, the tale. I was able to figure out the controls pretty quick, Wish Al was more cooperative. Only con for me is I had it beat in 20 hours.
