(NEG)If you like the way a bus handles then you will like this game. Every cars handling is extremly tight. There is no way these customized sports cars would handle this horribly. The crash effects are about the same as Need For Alacrity Underground and the graphics seem to be a few years ancient PGR 2 has better graphics. It also has the same conundrum as Grid on hard the front car is extremly quick until you pass him then you blow them away so you end up racing by yourself why have other cars on the track if you only see them on the first lap. There is no feeling of alacrity 100 mph feels like 50 and 50 feels like 15. When applying decals to your car you can’t mirror a decal so you can’t directly match one side with the other. You can’t customize the interior and there seems to be only 2 choices of ground effects per car and sometime’s 1 or none.
I have owned every NFS, PGR, and Forza and this one tops the list as largest dissapointment and worst handling.

turn ten has improved everything about this game. the only thing i don’t like are the auctions trying to buy a car and the owner pulls it right before you win because they feel like they did not get enough for it and that’s after you fought somebody for over an hour with 2 minutes remaining. turn ten should have made it so at two hours there wasn’t an extension it is really frustrating and a waist of time. the graphics are the best of ANY GAME. the handling is exact and the cockpit mode is the best. they improved the painting mode and you can make your own vinals simpler. also you can buy other people’s artwork. quick upgrade is awesome except that sometimes it gives you not needed pieces that hinder performance.

This is the most realistic simulation game yet. Does it leave a bit to be desired, well yes. They are missing a series of cars that should have been in since day one. Well one was in the first Forza. But if you like cars or want to learn how to start to tune your car, well you’re luck. This is a excellent outlet.
Unlike many of the other critic here, I accually have custom cars. Three of them and a newer V6 Camry. A Vette, mustang conv, and Camaro. So I have dibbled into alomst everything you can do in a car. So this game makes me realise how quick my cars are. But I also have expeirence in tuning, so this gives me an edge on the game. But it questions you in the begining how you treat the racing game. So even if you know not anything you can learn.
Not the graphics are incredible and the sound is awsome, but as impressive as the beging sequence of a race is, it gets ancient quick. Also, it keeps you from really getting you RPM in the spot for launch. This really kills the drag racing. But there are a ton of tracks, and cars. Also unlike the Turismo series the cars are cool, and usefull. Most of the GT cars are just different models of the same year. Forza keeps you with the choice stuff. The Hondas are even decent; well as they can get. The physics are spot on, and really not anything can touch it.
Now my beefs. No rallys, real stock cars, F1 cars, and sports/muscle/classic cars. Where is the 97 Camaro Z28(feature in every GT), 89-95 ZR1, GTR, 77 Trans Am, 62 Vette fuelie, Porsche 550 spyder(which was in the original), 69 Camaro SS(has gone missing), Ferrari GTB, and 442. But as a odd twist the fox body mustang has made a debut here. It took this many years, but the most well loved car for racing in amaerica is finally in a game. Still I want 20s-30s-40s-50s sports cars/race cars/ and luxery cars. But still a excellent turn out of cars.
All in all this game is as excellent as we can get right now. Lets hope they increase on in these ways,or GT5 will be the best of the bunch cycle.

I have never played Forza 2, but played the original Forza and am a fan of the GT series on PS as well. As with the previous review, the graphics are brilliant. OXM stated that they are “high end” PC graphics and would agree. They are not video-like, but are very close. The detail of the road and on the track is splendid. The fans and social class are very excellent, maybe a slight bit better than the NFS series, but in a grander sense.
The gameplay is top notch. I am not an expert racer and the assists do make the game fun. The reverse feature is nice once you gradually turn off the assists. The game reminds me of the first as you could use this to train you to be a better (or more efficient) driver.
The car and track depth is splendid. I would liken the interface to the one that Codemasters added to Dirt and the honesty of play to Test Guide Unlimited. I would at least pick this up as a rental. Consider as a buy as well, since it is a deep game. The extra disc does pose a conundrum to those with a 20GB HD or none at all as it takes up nearly 2GB.

When a developer makes a newer version of a game ‘more accessible’, that is usually code for ’shafting the hardcore. This is one of those sports meeting that was able to make their game more accessible without shafting the hardcore. I like the new Forza. Graphically, it is better than the last couple, but will probably fall small when compared to the upcoming new Gran Tourismo. But, even with that, I reflect Forza will reign supreme out of the two.
Turn 10 made a real masterpiece here. But even masterpieces have minor flaws. I am not really diggin’ the new marketplace setup. I am also not sure how I feel about the new event calendar? Other than those two gripes, what they achieved with this game, not only graphically, but in the gameplay department is not anything small of BRILLIANT.You have undoubtedly seen the reviews, videos, and advertisements. So, the only question is, if you are a racing fan, why in the hell haven’t you bought this yet? If you own a 360, and you like racing sports meeting, this is a necessary must have title for your 360 library. This is one of those titles that gives HUGE regard for your cash. A game like this you never complete.
