Folklore
- Battle monsters and creatures and ultimately collect their powers. As players harvest these powers, they in turn can use them against other monsters in battle, thus getting stronger with each monster they capture.
- Play as both characters, Ellen and Keats, and watch as their separate tales intertwine. Each character has specific talents and gameplay styles: Keats uses traditional direct attacks while Ellen uses strategic methods to trap her enemies.
- From the colorful Fairies to dark Spirits, each creature is painstakingly designed to inspire marvel and bewilderment.
- Much like pulling fish out of the water with a fishing pole, the PLAYSTATION®3 SIXAXIS™ wireless controller lets players literally “shake” their enemies into submission and “yank” their powers from them.
- Design custom Folklore dungeons and share with players online. Populate your levels with creatures you collect during your release player campaign!

Barely spent an hour with this game and I was ready to sell it!……I played a few sports meeting for PS3 before one of them was Conan….which was more fun and violent then this game…..but that’s just my opinion please read more reviews….before making your choice.

I wish I didn’t buy this game. Yes the game is colorful if you can stay wide awake. I don’t even mind reading the subtitles, but even on my 50 inch screen we couldn’t make out some of the words that were in red or green.
Maybe the game got better but I couldn’t make it very far before falling asleep at the controler. Paid [...] turned it in to game store for [...]!

When the demo for Folklore became available for download a couple of months ago, I was quick to get it. I thought the demo was a LOT of fun, but the only thing I didn’t like was all the text bubbles instead of actual voice acting. I knew this game had been made in Japan, so I thought that when the game came to the U.S. the text bubbles would be replaced with voice acting. This game is a lot of fun to play, but be warned that there is a LOT of text to read. Sometimes the text screens go on and on and on. I really reflect this slows the game down, and really got on my nerves after awhile. You may want to rent this before buying.

I got this game because it’s a RPG but it just shows still pictures of the person who is talking 3 out of 5 for this one.

I got this video for my boys for Christmas. The reviews looked favorable, and the description looked enticing. Playing the game was extremely dull. There was too much wait time between action, too much storyline, which I don’t mind storyline, but this was asinine.
The action was lame. Moving the characters around the way we had to was really weird and hard to get used to. Mind you, I didn’t make it past the first set of fighting action because even it was less than fascinating. My boys tried it and they say the fighting, storyline, movement, and characters were all terrible. They are used to playing Star Wars, Overlord, Ratchet and Clank, Ruin All Humans, and so on. All of which were much better.
I have played all the Zelda sports meeting, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, and more currently World of Warcraft. All of which are a lot more fun. So, sorry, despised spending so much on a game no one wants to play.
