It’s just not worth the price, the reason?
Because it feels more like a screensaver than a game. And I’m into artistic sports meeting but this just didn’t do it for me. It wasn’t fun, not creative as i thought it would be, and after 2 hours it’s already over.
I say this game is worth 2$, please use your cash on another psn game, for I learned my lesson.

Flower is a refreshing change from those violent, competitive sports meeting. Once one becomes more mature– some of us never do– one will delight in sports meeting that do not merely involve the same repetitive killing and destroying. In Flower, instead of annihilating everything, one is more in-tune with everything moving in a holistic flow in a manner that is very Zen-like in orientation. There are some points, later in the game, wherein there are some dark dangers that can harm one’s momentum (to a point); but this is easily overcome and one can (as in life) find ways (creatively) to overcome the dark and uncaring of others. This game is splendid for young or ancient, male or female. It would be a splendid experience for a visitor to try out at your home! It is aesthetically very pleasing and is rooted in harmony and oneness with the environment. Instead of barbaric sports meeting, it is really something that should occur more in our conflict riddled society! One can go back to it time and time again to relax and to feel in harmony with the beauty of nature. Then one can go outdoors and experience nature’s oneness directly… which is even better than any game! Walt Whitman said: “One pocketless of a dime may buy the pick of the earth.” There’s a lot of flowing grass in this brilliant flowering game. Read “Leaves of Grass” after playing it! It will help you to flower!

I liked the original flOw flash game and when I heard that they were going to make a HD version of it for the PS3 I was thrilled to see the company succeed. Now from ThatGameCompany comes Flower which feels a small bit like flOw but still feels like it’s own game.
Players take the role of a gust of wind which allows them to flow around picking up flower petals which causes the levels fields to bloom into affect.
Controls are very simple to know. The wind is management is controlled by the PlayStation 3’s Sixaxis motion controller and any button pressed makes the gust go quicker.
With uncomplicated levels, Flower is a gorgeous sight to see as flowers and grass are vibrantly colored and wonderfully go life like with the wind.
Another bonus is the sports meeting sound design. Kind of like Rez were there is social class music and shooting causes beats to accrue Flower has a gorgeous social class soundtrack and blooming flowers cause release clarification to sound off adding to the music.
One of the only downsides to the game is that it is small and can be finished in one meeting, for the price and experience Flower is a splendid game that I would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new.

You control the wind as you pollinate flowers and spread life throughout the world. Not particularly challenging but a lot of fun and a splendid pallet cleanser between sports meeting.

I was a small unsure about buying this game. I finally gave in & bought it, wow its just incredible!! I played it for about 2 hours straight after downloading it. It took a small while getting use to the controls. Its a very relaxing sports meeting, seems like a stress reliever as well. Do yourself a favor & buy this game.. I know it won at the 2009 VGA awards. Support this company. 5/5 stars.
