Don’t buy this game because you will forever marvel why you did so. This is the worst racing game I have ever played. The bonus sports meeting are crap and are all the same thing. If this was even a decent game there would be a reason to play the bonus sports meeting. But, there’s not. Sure you get cash, but with the best car in the game fully upgraded (why did I dissipate my time) you can’t tell a difference in the race from a crap car. All the upgrades do is take your cash and dissipate your time.
The actual racing is just as terrible. Sometimes when you hit a cone you will keep right on going and even get extra in your boost gauge. Other times I have gone flying off the track because of a release cone. I don’t know why and at this point I really don’t care.
The races beyond the very first ones are way too hard. It is more luck than skill. In other words, there is nearly no way to get first and you will only get in the top 3 if the other players take themselves out. Computer cars beat the best and fully upgraded car off the line and can turn corners in about half the time without losing alacrity. All you can do is watch them guide away.
Oh and one last thing, the shortcuts suck. They are not shortcuts and usually end up taking longer because it is like threading a needle and with the handling being so terrible. If you even stray a small from the exact route, you will be out of bounds and have to reset. If you hit anything, even going very slow, you will be thrown from your car and lose time. If you do manage to do it right you might still come out behind where you were. I have only found 3 races out of 75, or no matter what it is, that in fact have a shortcut that is worth taking. And by worth taking I mean doesn’t lose you time and doesn’t gain it either. Talk about a crap game. Please consider not buying this game.
Bottom line: NOT FUN and really really NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY (even to rent). Don’t borrow it either, it’s a dissipate of time.
Pro: The rag doll physics are droll for the first hour or less.

first of all one of the best derby/racing sports meeting out now even if you don’t believe me go to http://www.gamespot.com and see there review and IGN’s the only down fall is the horrible music and sometime when you jump out of the dialogue box and you hit a wall it will become see owing to but by and large its a fun game sound of the cars are brilliant!, the graphics are excellent, and the gameplay is out of this world i like the mini sports meeting my fav is the bowling and the dart when you hit the jump and you go flying in the air and hit the dart its hard to get the middle but hey!!! its fun and amusing when the bodies look like flying peices of crap!
graphics 9/10 its excellent
sound 10/10 the music sucks though
gameplay 10/10 like the mini sports meeting
by and large 9.9/10 excellent solid game i reccomend this to anyone who likes racing, derby, smashing, nascar sports meeting so is ya like that get it you won’t be dissapinted!

this game is really fun. it has lots of things to do inclunding sports meeting such as bowling and darts where you hurl your driver owing to the dialogue box. the ragdoll physics in this game are amusing because your driver looks as if he was made of jello. the tracks are never the same and highly destructable. this is one of the best racing sports meeting since burnout 3.

This game was not nearly as excellent as I thought it would be. There are splendid mini sports meeting, which involve you: hitting a bullseye, doing a highjump, bowling, all with a guy.In most of the events, you simply ride your car near something and hold and release R1. This was not too much fun to do. Anyways here’ my review.
I had splendid antisipation towards this game, thinking it would be the best game around, but i was incorrect.
Graphics: 4.5/5. This i probably the sports meeting high point. The dirt and water effects are sweet, and when you crash your car. The terrible graphics are when your guy flies out of your car he looks very cheap. ( terrible graphics. ) and sometimes the screen flickers, giving ME a headache.
Sound: 2.5/5. Ahh I despised the music in this game. The music is not very poppy, rocky, or excellent in any way. The songs are all horrible, and all you hear in this game is that, and engine revings.
Controls: 3/5. The controls are okay, but they take time to get used to, and when you turn, you can easily and you usally do, go from about 70 MPH to about 30 MPH on every turn.
Fun: 3/5. This game was simply not that splendid. I mean there are ragdoll physics in this game, but it just didn’t entertain me. The races all suck, the only excellent part of this game is the mini-sports meeting; which are release player; and there is no online play at all. I wouldn’t recommend this game unless you have a cravin’ for ragdoll physics, like most people. So this is worth a rental, and not a buy.
